We survived the harsh matchdays within 2 hrs each other by equally smashing both teams. We played 3-1-4-2 in the first match with 8 players from the titulars, and a 3-5-2 V in the second match with 6 reserves added.
In the first match we got again the usual injury troll that this time got our promising rising star Clark Kent at MINUTE 87 with a 5 days injury just when we had to avoid injuries at any cost, with our AMR still convalesent for 3 days (5 total). We are out of reds, and the few raised are needed to heal the MR since Tom Becker hadn't a single rest day in 5 straight matches.
That is the 18th Injury in 17 matches played. Of which, 15 came between minute 85-90. Bull****.
For the Cup, we got a good draw altho at the same time not so good. We had high hopes that Alex FC (now Barcelona) and William Asset would at least cross ways before the final, but the good sort system cherished those two rich personal trainers and put them to the end of god's realm. Supposing we survive these rounds, we will have to force our way to the final crossing swords with William Asset, but before that, supposing we pass, we'll have another though opponent being it Kaiserslauten. We might have a shot to the third place after all this season, unless troll keeps up.
Both Alex and William had the best possible sort and looks like an easy go for them until the semifinals. FC Koln has powered up hugely in this season since we took them out in the previous cup (we were on equal Q) and can be a pretender too. What remains are the underdogs New Team and Kaiserslauten which OFC won't be able to play the Joker both as they'll probably smash into the quarters.
CL - round 5
Ilkay FC 0-2 ROYAL FC
"GOOD MANAGEMENT FROM THE MANAHER GOT THEM THE 1ST PLACE IN THE TOP 16" these are the headlines for tomorrow we didn't act well in the 4-5-1 V, especially when the DMC, Bultink, got injured in the last minutes of the 1st half so, we made some substitutions and changed the formation to 3n--4-1-2 as I wanted to play with from the beginning. After changing the formation, we gave a very good performance and from 2 chances we got 2 goals.
Goals : Ashadi 78' , Sabri 83' - MotM : Sabri (8)
Team Talk : our DMC/DC, Bultink, is now injured and won't start playing again before next Sunday, unless i'd like to heal him before and i'm not intending to heal him with packs.
now, i'm waiting for group A to decide the 2nd place in it to know who am i playing against in the top 16.
So I lost a game today, against a pretty weak team so i decided to check out the ratings.... lol, my goalkeeper received a 3 )))) First time i seen that happen!!!! he's actually not that bad, my backup choice, a young 4star player who had very good moral before the game.
just curios, anyone had this ever happen to them??
todays results:
CL: CoolioFC 1-4 olympico roma as (45.7)
LG: CoolioFC 1-0 FC AERAS (32.9)
mixed day today. despite taking the lead and then a man advantage we were well beaten in the end by roma, who made 3 inspired substitutions. the final group game requires me winning and roma beating the guy in second and a six goal swing for me to progress. better in the league though as we register a 5th win in 6 to remain 4th. a late goal from luke johnson ensured the 3 points against AERAS in 3rd, were now one point behind them. natalist away tomorrow, a draw would be nice as i have 4 should wins after that. will it be enough to catch up on the top 2, 7 points ahead..

LEAGUE. Round 9. RAMLA AC (81.2) v LONDON CITY (80.9)
Result: RAMLA 1-0 LONDON
Goals: Celik 50
M.o.M: Yusuke Azuma (Ramla)
Sadly, we lost our unbeaten league record in this tense match. We played well enough, but just couldn't find the net. The only goal of the game came just after the break, when Ercan Celik fired home after being put through by his midfield. The loss drops us to second spot, one point behind the leader's, who we beat yesterday.
CITY: Miklosko, Costa, Fiksdal, Watts, Cole, Andersson, Santos, Hori (Duggan), Daniels, Yashin, Robins.
CHAMPS LEAGUE. Group Round 5. PERSEGABO FC (75.2) v LONDON CITY (78.5)
Result: PERSEGABO 0-1 LONDON
Goals: Daniels 5
M.o.M: Jonathan Watts
We are still just in the champs league after this crucial win. But we still need other results to go in our favour. This was a must win game and the lads responded well. Jack Daniels gave us the perfect start, when he dribbled his way past defenders to plant his shot into the corner of the net. From then on, it was backs to the wall stuff to keep our hosts out. The result means that we need the group leaders to beat the second place later tonight, to stay in the competition. Any other scoreline and we go out.
CITY: Woodhouse, Costa, Fiksdal, Watts, Cole, Andersson, Zola (Rogie), Hori, Daniels, Robins, Leth.

League - round
ROYAL FC 2-0 MBF FC
for the second time today i do some substitutions and edit the formation and then score 2 goals and win the match.
i started the game with 4--3--3 but i changed it at halftime to butterfly and scored 2 goals
Goals : Quiroz 49' , Ashadi 63' - MotM : Quiroz (8)
Team Talk : i am still the 3rd with 1 point difference from the 1st and 2nd.
Sami (AML/ML) is now back and should start playing again from tomorrow while Bihorac (MC) got the second yellow cards and i'll play with the sub MC tomorrow
just drew at home against the strongest team in my league, no the table looks like this:
Very satisfied how it went till now (well, I guess I am lucky he messed up a couple of times). I dont expect to make any points in the return game vs Master FC, but even if I lose there, I have a 3 points and a better goal difference to play with. Only bit that concerns me a bit is the away game vs #5 tomorrow, could be a tough one. Would be nice to play on a day with CL and after the CL match, because he has a small 14man squad. Another crucial match will be the away game vs #3 in like a week, I guess if I win both of these games, my chances are very good to take another title after two seasons without winning the league.
Its a shame my free kick specialist missed both chances in the game just now, the second one in '90 would have been especially nice
But I'm realistic, a the 1-1 was ok.
edit: And I have no idea how #2 is still up there. Playing this guy in round12, I hope my team does not disappoint like some of the others did...
