League, Day 21; CL, Semifinals, 1st Leg

Edit: it's 3N-1-3W-1-2 in the second match*

League: A very comfortably win away against our friends of Arif FC keeps our streak alive (59 consecutive wins); a match played by mostly reserves after we forgot to switch back yesterday. Not a problem seemed as we dominated without needing to recur to the big guns.

    Scorers: M.Lopes (2), K.H.Schneider, T.Matsukase, B.Banner
MoM: K.H.Schneider (9), New Team, with only 38' played.

Champion's League: We had a good share of troll in the first half were even dominating of a total of 10 shoot 0 were on goal, it wa a succession of "goes wide" and "poor effort". Nonetheless Tony Stark played the comeback just before the end of the first half with a personal action (44') which unblocked our plays. In the second half we were oppressing the opponents in their own area until first Clark Kent (FK, 53') then Johnny Blaze (67') gave us a foot in the final. Matsukase who were close to score all the first half sealed the 0-4 at minute 73'.

    Scorers: T.Stark, C.Kent, J.Blaze, M.Tenma.
    MoM: C.Kent (9), New Team.

    Afterthoughts

Despite the engine and the troubles, we keep playing magnificently. As opposition, the stronger we face the better we seem to perform. What we are hoping i to keep the same situation tomorrow in our cup's second leg and eventually have a shot to qualify despite all the bad odds (July, make a quote on tomorrow's cup match vs William Asset ).
We are in the CL final again, and gonna for the first time support the weak guy ithe other semifinal as this French opposer who i prolly meet in the final has been cheering for my opposition more than twice in this CL.

    CHAMPIONS LEAGUE - SEMI-FINAL, 1ST LEG

    July Fourth 6-0 vito6a

    July Fourth 119.3 3N-1-2-3W-1 then 68 minutes dandelion - vito6a 116.9 4-4-1-1

This was a tough semi-final as mentioned earlier in the preview but sometimes you don't know what to expect from July Fourth, yesterday they couldn't score to save themselves and today was a different day as we worked to banish some of our past disappointment, For the first 20 minutes vito6a were getting the early chances in with Gougoulakis posing the early thread with a cross that was cleared by Hogan and a shot on goal from him that was deflected away from Miku, we sensed early that something wasn't quite right so we changed our passing style midway through the first half, O'Sullivan was the first to attempt an attack for July Fourth and Negrea won the ball and cleared it, Miku's long range shot then found the back of the net and it was Miku's 20th goal of the season and the first in a while, 5 minutes later and Michu got through on goal but it was saved and Stuart crossed in the corner and Michu jumped up and headed us into a 2-0 lead, there was a spell for vito6a to try and get an away goal and get back into the tie before HT and we defended well with Childs.

The second half started and July Fourth continued to pressure the vito6a defence and Vestergaard and Ramirez both had a shot blocked before July Fourth turned on the style and took away the tie from vito6a's reach when Michu passed to Diamond to fire it past Lisai in the vito6a goal, Then a foul from Manero earned himself a yellow and allowed Michu a free-kick and he got it spot on by firing it into the top corner... vito6a needed a goal to give themselves any hope in the 2nd leg, but Billota could not beat Hogan and Childs and July fourth soon finished the game off when Hogan's clearance then found Diamond who decided to go for goal and unexpectedly found the back of the net from long distance... 84 minutes played and there was time for one more... this time from O'Sullivan who got into the right area of the penalty area and just went for power and beat the keeper to wrap up an amazing night of football from July Fourth.

    Goals: Miku (28) Michu (33,60) Diamond (52,78) O'Sullivan (84) MOTM: Michu.

Team Talk: Before tonights match I would of been happy enough with a 2-0 win tonight, but it seems like we got our tactics spot on for this game and our opponents just had no answer when we play like this. This is what July Fourth are capable of doing when they are at their best and tonights result was totally unexpected and I'm delighted to have beaten such a tough opponent in vito6a by a scoreline like this. I think we can say we are safely in Fridays Champions League Final against either aejn or gunners and we can watch their game tonight to get an idea what to expect from our potential opponents in the Final.

So the guy who beat me in the CL got owned today...

Why does this always happen! I would have put up a better fight than this idiot!!!

Sometimes this game engine really annoys me lol... perhaps I do need to tank next season. Need a break from this game.

Sometimes you end up playing against 'bogey' teams... I'm not sure if there is a factor where some teams in the game you can't seem to beat no matter what you throw at them. I haven't beaten Batigo United yet in 4 occasions I've played them. But yeah the game engine can be your friend or foe at any given time. What is it... You have gone about 6 seasons unbeaten in the league?

    Monday.

LEAGUE. Round 21. TIGIDI TEAM (83.3) v LONDON CITY (82.3)

    Result: TIGIDI 1-1 LONDON
    Goals: Gentner 60, Daniels 68
    M.o.M: Fabio Haller

It feels like the season is over for us, and we are now playing a series of friendlies. After a goalless first half, the opening goal was scored by Thilo Gentner right on the hour. It took us eight minutes to equalise when Jack Daniels powered in a shot that the 'keeper just didn't see. After that, the game fizzled out to the eventual draw.

CITY: Miklosko, Haller, Fiksdal, Whyte, Watts, Andersson, Santos (Hori), Duggan, Daniels, Yashin, Robins.

    TEAM TALK:

We now stand in 5th position with only a realistic chance of finishing 4th. (2nd is possible, but we need other results to go in our favour). On the other hand, it doesn't look like we'll finish any lower than 7th, so we can't even tank the season.

Very hard end of season is in front of us

First with napoli, then esperance, then REALPESCARA83, it should be easier game with Latinos, and finally FC Untidy.

    The CL quarter-finals were a roller-coaster. I survived.

The opponent for the semis is surprisingly low rank. I'll most likely get smashed into oblivion in the finals though.
