Only if they can farm vast amounts of tokens in a short period of time.

Well depends, there is always a possibilty. But I would say - No! Just look at my league table, all teams that have 5/6* players in their squad are some between pos. 1 - 5. And all others are below.

Of course sometimes a weaker team manage to beat a stronger one, but that is just "occasional".
