Yes, they do get injured, which is why you need to be willing to heal them. I like PTing only the guys that are not playing the next game, if only because I can decide to heal or not, also i am not a big fan of stretching unless it is the players better gain (you can determine gain against the average listed to see where the player trains best) or to even out condition, because it is such a small amount vs. risk of injury. Yes, I think it does slightly increase their risk of injury in near future, but not that much. You really need to just be willing to spend the reds during the time you PT. You can do all three types of training at the same time if you want, like I said though see where the player does best, and try to go with those types of exercises.
