This is an SA that has worked well for me. I try to have 2 on my team in the event one is out or injured. I've had one since season 1 or 2 and have had a high success rate on corners.

I have a DC/DR who is a corner specialist and very good at taking them. I also have a brilliant DL/DC free kick specialist who is far better at them than my midfielder free-kick specialist. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I definitely agree about defenders for corner specialists.

Watch ur squad, its possible that u might even have a player with higher crossing skills than your corner specialist, specially if other squad player might have more stars, same for free kick specialist, happened to me i had a guy with higher crossing skilks than the specialist

Yes, but there's no point me trying other players out when they are doing well - your advice is just common sense.

Yes agree but somtimes a for example 5 star player with better skills is better than a 4 star specialist. Same i think a plain 5 star keeper is better than any 4 star with ability. As long as it works for u its great but if the opponents goalkeeper is higher star than ur special ability player he safes many free kicks o corner..

With corners, it's more to do with their defenders, and my strikers/midfielders than his goalkeeper - the majority of the time it's either that I score from a header or they clear it with a header. It's rare for me that the goalie catches it.
