Question: Young vs. Old players - what is the better way ?

    Hallo,

I have a question regarding young players and the training factor,

My basic question is: Does it make sence to invest in young players and push them?

    I will show an example:
    - Buy a young 18 year old player e.g. with strength 15
    - Goal should be to develop this guy with minimum 5 strenth points in one season (from 4 to 5 stars in league 1) as he will lose 1 star (Meaning indirectly 5 points) in a highler league (Please correct me if I am wrong here!)
    - When this player plays 2 games a day he will perhaps receive 300% training success (If he has a really good training factor), what means 0,6 points can be distributed to his skills
    - to get him from 15 to 20 strentgh (from 4 to 5 stars in league 1) you need 75 skill points what means you need 25 days to do that
    - To be honest I have never had a player who developed 300% a day so this is a really high value that I have added

    What I think about:
    - Is it really worth it to buy such a young expensive player and try to develop him ?
    - Wouldn´t it make more sence to buy an old guy and play with him for some seasons and safe money?
    - Example: For a strength 15 18-year old guy I have to pay perhaps 500K Euro. I could have bought for the same one a 27 or 28 year old guy with a strength of 2x

It would be interesting to hear your comments, perhaps I have a brain lag somewhere or forgot something. Please share your opinions

Another short questions: Is it possible anyhow to calculate the training factor of a player, as it is not possible to see it anywhere?

    Greetz!

Don't forget trainging and MOTM awards you get skill points from that as well so to get an 18 y. o. from 4* to 5* takes less than 25 days! Always try to invest in younger players with high market value (the higher the value the faster a player should train).

But a good strategy for 1st season (my strategy) is to buy 1-2 old 5* players to help you win the league and sell them at the end of the season while the MV is still higher.

Power training is when you train a player using hard training. NOTE:There isn't a button for this. You have to train him over and over and over again and fill his condition with green packs. This is only good if he is a VERY fast trainer... For me this is not a good idea. Why waste all my green packs on a player like that... Well I have never seen a nordgen (VERY FAST TRAINER AND A GOOD PERFORMER) and I have never bought a player from the academy... You can get more players and sometimes better players for his value... And 85% of the time players like that are sold in bidding wars in 15+ round.
NOTE:Power training is not the same with personal trainer,in fact they are parallel.
By the way you are level 1... There are plenty of players in the market for 1 level... Well not that much on this new market...

I have read this:to see if a player is a fast trainer divide his value with his salary and if it is 30+ he is a fast trainer... Well if he is 27,28,29 he still is a fast trainer...

Are you really sure about that? I made this for my entire team and none of them is getting a value above 25...
Nevertheless, some of my players are really fast trainers and they develope rapidly. (e.g. my defender Piqué is worth 104 Mio., his salary is 4.84 Mio. and he gets +44/+92/+123 with the three different practice options).

Im not so sure about that calculation thing.

It is best to have a mix of players, really. Because those young fast trainers can keep their Q up better, it is good to invest in some of them for key roles, where you want to have a player stay for awhile on your Team. (and eventually be old players..)
Like this guy, I've had him many season on a 35T team:Question: Young vs. Old players - what is the better way ?-vizz.jpg
I bought him as a young very expensive player, but knew I intended to keep him so I've thrown a green pack at him every so often for extra training.

Buying older players can be a really good value, if you only intend to keep them for a Season or two.

Thats messed up guess the calculation is different for various levels.. here is my fastest trainer in the team at Lv 2(Season 2)

    If i do that 3'690'000 : 49'000 = 75,3..

I don't know if the formula works or not but I'd guess you cant compare the wage and value of a signed and trained player since I'd assume the value goes up with training while the wage is fixed, no? (tbh I don't bother looking so don't know) Maybe better to compare the renew contract wage with value.....but I'm just blabbing again. >.<

That is a good player. Hint: Train positions/SAs before quality. The player at 5* develops faster when trained than the player at 6*.

Yep thats what im usually doing :P I started training SA when he had 29 then i bought another AMR/AML with shadow striker SA so this one didnt need it anymore.. sadlly i had to sell this player cause he was getting bad rates 5-5-6-5 n so on.. not even a 7 and scored 1goal in 17games.. and i couldnt explain myself why.. If i trained him this SA he would probabbly become better ;P
