Orders for 4-5-1 V style ?

I think the arrows are a still misleading, a brief explanation the recent Q&A did nothing to fully understand them.
I still work on justdomes theory that the move in the direction of the arrows depending on the two phases of the game.
Forward arrows: move forward one square when in possession and down arrows one square when out of possession.
But to be totally honest I have my doubts as to their effectiveness.

The number of time I have played 'Mentality Normal' with down arrows on the centre DC of three, to read he running through on goal. at best!
Another reason why random goal scorers appear from nowhere and strikers make last player challenges, engine grew with Neanderthal man.

Group 'B' CL off to a good start with a 5-0 win.
Goals from: Wilcox (23), Douglas 2 (37-83), Pardue 2 (51-79) he's my new scout striker aka Pepp Crawford, club still unsure about Simon Garners future so his name change will have to wait.
3 Skill points for that game. two of which were for MOM Douglas.

Group 'A' has another English team in there Rod FC; 44 quality, I look forward to the encounter in the final.

1 ST is no problem, I played with just 1 ST all last season, usually 3-2-2-2-1, and finished top of my league with over 100 goals.

Regarding the arrows, I would put red on DL, DR, AML and AMR, and blue on DMC, but dv8r's style works too.

yepp noticed it works for other teams even far weaker than me but not for me..which is kind frustrating .. and i blame the stupid engine which favor counter attack regardless if you put 4 better defenders at the back with great 2 CB with blue arrow, but still that lower quality striker can multiple chances to run pass them, and not sure really what my back were doing? possibly taking pictures with the fans or it was tea time, bcz i can't see any excuse to leave that slower weaker striker alone despite all my instructions

i use these orders:

Mentality: Normal
Passing: Down both flanks
pressure: Own half
tackling: normal
passing: mixed
marking: zonal

counter attack yes, no offside

if i put red arrows on the dl en dr i play attacking without counter attack.

i don't like 2 put many arrows. the players must stay on the position they play.

it's works 4 me. maybe you should try without arrows en during the game playing with the orders and arrows
