Right now I have 300 greens... If I wish to make a mutant team how many greens will I need? Also should I follow the 8+6=14 rules to maintain the team % or should I train all 11 into mutants?
I have never tried to create mutant team so I don't have any idea.. If you could explain a bit it would be helpful

You cannot make mutants any more.
Only semi-mutants , players with 30% grey and 180% whites, but you need to buy a 3* players single position and spend 300 greens only for him.

Does it still work this way? (Low quality % determining cup draw) I just started last week and found the forums today, looks like I need to sell a lot of players and keep reading. This and the fast trainer stuff is so confusing to me but ill keep trying to figure it out.

yes, it's still like this - the best 14 players quality.

You need to spend some time reading but it's worthy.

Yeah I've done a bit. It seems a new season is about to start so my goal is to buy FT immediately and train them. I'm still not 100% sure how to spot them, nor how to train them tho. But ill keep reading. Thanks

yes in the beginning, unless you don't have some good players from this season you want to keep, so buy some 18 y.o. with less token last day.
But you will start the training from day one, new season, so they will loose one good year as fast trainers.

My manipulator FC is now already level 10, lost first round cup this season unfortunately, because I thought I can do it without buying a lot of players for many token on first day of the season to fill all the spots where I sold guys... And lost first match 3-1 I believe and couldn't turn around anymore.

Also I'm working further on my record breaker man. This season he was 25 yo, which means training progression slows down next season even more. I trained him to max now to score many more goals in his career. Will be tough to keep him competitive without friendlies in further seasons.
He is currently on 712 goals in 377 games. Of course first round cup exit hurt him this season...

dropping quality gives you some extra chance for winning the treble but that's all.
Many things can happen.
From a double troll result in the Cup or CL knock out games as to get some opponents who are doing the same
or even worst.
I have two opponents in my Cup, one bought 7 scouts - he even doesn't have an asso group


and the other bought 11 scouts
