Hi my veteran friends.
1. Can you tell me when the prices of players in the market goes down ? I mean the exact day.
2. Last season I notice that some players had 20-30% down (in those last few days) and some , the same 10%. Why is that ?
3.Is this discount counts also for the scout players ?

There is no discount, some people are trying to sell their players by the end of the season and since there's none buying they put the price on minimum.. i guess :D

2. That's because next season they'll be less competitive or their contract is ending.
For example, manager has reserve player, weak 4 stars (3* next season), contract ending. He wants to avoid expensive contract renewal and he wants to buy new 5-6* player.
3. No. Moreover, buy scout only in first day(s) of season or don't buy them at all. Wait until next season starts, then buy 3-4/8-9 U21 years old player.

Hey man, if you have a CH.L. final and A CUP final what would you do ?
try to win both, i guess :D what else would you do ?^^
uhm, if im confident in my team i would leave it as it is.. if not i would train my players and get them stronger for those finals.
For CH.L. ok but for CUP I must win 5lv teams in semi & final. I'm lv3 :p
I'm Lv 5, playing against Lv 9 on the semi final :D yah, sucks when they've got 9star players rofl :D
Yes, you talking about ! That's what I'm thinking taking a scout in the end of the seaso, so maybe have a (small) chance to get the treble.
Buy nordgen player: U21 years old, rating near scout (X4 or X9; 24,29,34,39...). They are better solution than scouts because their growth will keep them competitive through more seasons, 50T scouts aren't that useful. Nordgens are best players, even without powertraining they should last few seasons. I had ST who played for my team 4 seasons, played 95 matches for my team, 54 goals (for club), 33 assists (last season, other not counted). Now I have nordgen LB, he plays his 3rd season and still has 5* rating.Quote:

I bought a scout which was 7*, nearly 8* and he played 4 seasons in all competitions (200 games) and in his 5th season he is a high 4* aged 27. But bought another scout GK to replace him, who is high 7*. So it depends what you think is better. I like to have a mix of both scouts and youth players which train fast.

Nordgen defenders and ST are useful too because I upgrade only def/att and physical. My nordgen ST has rating 65 (weak 5*) att skill 73, physical high too.

My ex ST, not nordgen, but for me more useful than scout.
He has similar age, attack and physical stats as scout, but low (useless for ST) defensive skills and he costed me 1T (49T saved)

I believe that in this critical point, before a final, a scout would be more useful because I just need to buy him, put him and expecting to perform well. A nordgen, 18 y.o. , 5*, with twice the money of a scout, isn't common in the market. If I could guess that it would be a biding war for certain , I also had to count at least 10T. He 'll be probably without SA and I have read that 18 y.o. need some time to perform.
Ok, my team is wealthy but I'm not Abramovich (even if I placed once over 15T in bidding war already) :eek:
In my 2nd season I bought a scout DL/DC Header, who also in this season become 6* and he is one of the MVPs and that I believe also for the next season even he would be 4* . So 50T /3 years = 17T for a year for such a player :o
With this season budget, I bought a scout MC, f-k specialist. I agree with you t11 fan, an MC holding the rythm of the game and his SA , F-K or Corner makes the diference.
Well, on transfermarket you need luck for every player, you can't know how many tokens will someone spend. I've been using nordgens for while, with 35T per season they are my only chance to keep team competitive. Although nordgens are expensive, advantage is that you don't have to buy new player for few seasons so it gives space and time to earn enough money for players future replacement. My GK should play 4-5 seasons, club will have money to replace him.Quote:

I 'm not in that LV, yet, I'm LV3/season 3. I have 1 good nordgen but going for more 5* I was in the middle of biding war and gave up.
I have a competitive team (going for my 3rd L, semi CH.L., semi CUP) so I must have many have 5* players. In some season at the future I 'll think about tanking.
Level 3? Then you don't need scouts, 5* players on this level are enough to aim on the top of all competitions.

Levels 1-4, not a single scout used. Average rating of best 4 teams in low leagues is 3-4*, so if you have 11 5* players you can win trophys without problems. Save tokens for high levels ;)

Great wall my friend Vahid but to tell the truth, I want the triple crown. After painting my wall with that , I go relaxing and hunting L and CH.L.
So, I missed an opportunity last year, won L & CH.L and lost in semi of the Cup. Same this year, almost sure 1st in League, good chances for CH.L., semifinals in CUP. That's why I'm thinking for a finance sacrifice for a scout who can give me 100%.
As I could watch the forum, higher levels, more difficult the cup (ok I read about tanking or selling half the team).
Got Mr Scout players too. I tend to buy a defender as I actually find them to be more consistent in spite of concerns about 'balance'. But this season there were no DCs worth having so I took a Striker, he gave me 4 days of incompetence and disinterest then a couple of games where the effort of stepping off the bench seemed to drain his lifeforce....then he started performing and scoring.
I've actually managed to hold onto a defender that is in his 4th season now - he's mid 5* and after a slump at the end of last season is ever-reliable again. He's my second most played player after my GK and still holds the team record for assists since in his first 2 seasons he took all the corners.
I have averaged a Scouted player a season.
One of the problems with Scouts is they are not as disposable as others.
But the bigger problem with Scouted players remains, to get them to last as Scout for 3 seasons means being very picky and the rest on the list are only useful for an emergency quick fix imo. A Scouted player should as far as I'm concerned be able, by design, to last as a Scout for the length of his contract through play and standard training so anything over 23 to me is not enough, which is very limiting. :(

Ok Vahid, I know what you talking. Previous season I bought a package of 250T to start building my team. Lost half in bidding wars and other stupid auctions. But I’m quick learner. :cool:
As about my scout, his numbers in League and CH.L. aren’t realistic because the other team had lower level than me but in CUP I had tough opponents.
Cup is alway though because your opponents should have equal quallity team as yours, but sometimes you could play against higher lvl and much stronger clubs. That's because you use scouts (a lot) so they now compare your club with lvl4+ clubs. Scouts doesn't guarantee cup high finish. They're useful, but they are reason why you have though cup opponents.
Read tutorials, they're always useful.

Analyzing the second game, my super star take the game on his back while the opponent MC, a 5* 18 y.o. get his 2nd yellow card and destroyed the game. Ok maybe (I read something about ) the youngers attract cards or the manager put Tackles in Hard to overcome or to take out one of my players. But my scout with SA “F-K specialist” hit twice !
