providing a performance of 6-7 is not good enough
for a ST, DC or winger, no - for a MC, DMC, a GK maybe it is (and the team is winning of course)
I 'm lv13, so it's not difficult for me to find replacements for my flops

For what I have seen so far, I recommend the following.
If you are the 35T-a-season player or low token buyer, try to get 5 stars (or 4 stars but about to become 5) 'nordgens' fast trainers (or fast training players from other managed clubs), expensive or not, but avoid bidding wars. The priority is to avoid spending a lot of tokens on player that might turn out to be a flop.
If the player you bought using a few tokens flops, sell him, and find other players. That is only a small lose.
Also, keep an eye on free players.
