I used 4-1-4-1 in my CH.L. final and won again. The orders were the same but this time I was attending from the new version so I used 3 times the extra defense bonus.
I was playing in a +1 level CH.L. . Most of my opponents were lv13.

It's good to have a DMC/MC and a MC/AMC (extra positions ofc.).
It's much better than giving useless midfield sa like C-K, dribbler or playmaker.
You can switch formations during game, like from 4-1-4-1 to 4-4-1-1 without subs.

What ability should a dmc/mc have ?? and a mc/amc??

to give a DMC/MC and MC/AMC those extra positions, needs about 50 greens.
To make them stronger (middle 6* players), needs another 50.
(if they are fast trainers).
If you have another 50 greens to give them sa, playmaker is ok with the DMC/MC and shadow striker better for MC/AMC.
If you haven't any descent F-C or C-K specialist, you can also give this one too (but better test him in few games first, if he has the talent).
