Funny moments haha. Made me remember when I was a kid (beginning of 90's), there was a match between two countries. The winner would play against Viet Nam. Both teams were fighting hard to score against themselves. And the opposition were making a lot of effort not to let it. None of them wanted to face Viet Nam.

I was trying to google it and discover this match, then I found another funny one.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbad...qualification)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...&v=ThpYsN-4p7w

This Caribbean Cup had a strange rule. Matches would never finish with a draw. If it was it, they would go to extra time. And 1 goal on extra time would value 2 goals (?!?!?!) hahaa
Barbados needed 2-0 (or 3-1, 4-2, 5-3...) to qualify. The match was ending Barbados 2-1 Granada. Then Barbados decided, on purpose, to make an own goal. 2-2 and then match gone to extra time. They scored a goal (here 1=2!!!) and they won 4-2 haha

    Here we go again.
Hikmet is again in my league , both playing again the same lv (he isn't my frind)
His squad looks in normal positions but maybe it's for the Cup game.

All the players were out of position but his formation was normal
    What can I say.
If no manager is watching the game, it's so random

So tomorrow a new seasonal contest is starting.
    The UK tour.
For me it's not the challenge to win those contests with my main team, NIK , but to win it with my reserves, the teams I have and trying to remain in the same level as i don't have the time to play competitive the game.
Last season was the contest Scoring spirit
    https://forum.topeleven.com/top-elev...challenge.html
which was giving some good tokens and a cool unique jersey
I managed to win the contest for the 10 teams (which stayed in the same lv again) and didn't make it only for RINOKEROS
NIK ,the main team of course had the record.

This is the match you mentioned, I remember that full emotion 1998 Tiger Cup too:

    from wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998_A...ip#Controversy

"This tournament was marred by an unsportsmanlike match between Thailand and Indonesia during the group stage. Both teams were already assured of qualification for the semi-finals, but both teams also knew that the winners of the game would face hosts Vietnam in the semi-finals, while the losing team would face surprise group winners Singapore, who were perceived to be easier opposition, and would also avoid the inconvenience of moving the team's training base from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi for the semi-finals. The first half saw little action, with both teams barely making any attempt to score. During the second half both teams managed to score, resulting in a 2–2 score after 90 minutes. During injury time, despite two Thai defenders attempting to stop him, Indonesian defender Mursyid Effendi deliberately scored an own goal, handing Thailand a 3–2 victory. FIFA fined both teams $40,000 for "violating the spirit of the game", while Mursyid was banned from domestic football for one year and international football for life. In the semi-finals, Thailand lost to Vietnam, and Indonesia lost to Singapore. In the final, the title was to elude the hosts, as they went down 1–0 to unfancied Singapore in one of the competition's biggest shocks to date."
