Counter formation for 3-1-1-2-3. Need to overturn a 1-4 deficit...

So I came across this completely broken formation in a cup game.

I was playing at home with the 4-5-1V and was down 1-3 inside the first half. Changed to 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly at halftime and ended up conceding another. Tried everything including attacking down the flank where he had no protection and still couldn't claw back a goal. How do I counter this in the return leg?
