I guess his players' highlighted skills is so high while the other skills is so low which will give him more quality. check his players out.

why you don't go defensive 4 change! 3N 3W (DML - DMC - DMR) 2N 1 1
Arrows: 3DC - DMC --> down - AMC --> up

Defensive - Through the middle - mixed passes - Counter ON
High pressing - Normal tackling - Zonal - Offside OFF

Thanks for your input. I like the tactic you exposed but impossible for me to use as I am short of DMR. No, he's not used one of these tricks for boosting players quality.
