    @Khris
This is day 9 of my League.
I have 0 goals conceded so far and avg about 6-0.
    Overall Rating or White Skills?-league-d9.jpg

Those are the defenders I use most in the League games

    Overall Rating or White Skills?-rates-prytz-78.jpg

    Overall Rating or White Skills?-rates-desaily-105.jpg

    Overall Rating or White Skills?-rates-costacurta-109.jpg

    Overall Rating or White Skills?-rates-rikard-115.jpg

So the first two, Gonzalez and Prytz have better rates that Costacurta and Rikaard.
Does it mean that I must invest more to them ?
    Hell no !

The other two are young, fast trainers, can have extra positions and good sa and gonna last more seasons.

Rates and stats of the game are overestimate.

There aren't "good" or "bad" players or form.
30% of the game is Luck, roll dice
30% is high quality good players
    30% is watching and coaching
    and 10% miscellaneous

I regret to say, I disagree with you. In my opinion, players have hidden, characteristic features and some skill.

For example, for a ST, Pivot santrofor, Creative striker, co-striker, etc. This example can be said in other positions. It's just my opinion

    The game has some patterns.
For example if you 're playing with wingers or 3 AM (AML-AMC-AMR), your (alone) ST will be a mediocre player.
Even if is +1 star above the wingers.
Only if you put him to take f-k, penalties or ck (to add some assists) will score or get better rates.
Now, if you 're playing 4-4-2 ND, one of the two STs will perform little better than the other.
If you 're playing 4-3-3 flat, one of the three STs will be total crap.
Yes, in those cases maybe hidden characteristics matter.
Don't know cause I don't use 2STs formations (only switching in emergency cases)

I'll try the 2 ST system next season. 1. ST 1.75 cm will do ST to help this player by giving red pointing. 2.ST is 1.95 cm tall and will play with this ST green marker. I will share the result

The game doesn't have that depth.
To give more personal orders to players
For example , one player to shoot more, the other passing more.
To pass crossings at higher ground for a header or lower pass
    and so

The length of the players, in my opinion, is the helper ST? Or a scorer? I think you gave me the clue. Maybe you're right, the game doesn't have that depth. Maybe I'm under the influence of FM 2012
