Many managers claim that some players are good and some bad.
Well, I will start a separate thread as a part of that one

But they are not good either.
They have some high q because I train them and they have some good stats because usually I 'm playing with teams like that and I dominate the games because I 'm active and have much better quality avoiding high q teams.

no, but they are not "good" either.
That's why I 'm gonna sell Robinho after my asso games,
because he is old and harder to keep his quality at that level (which would give me some advantage)
and because I have to drop my quality to avoid the +1 LV opponents or tankers
and because Adriano is younger and gonna replace him with the same success
and because Robinho and Adriano are not "good" or "bad" players.
I am playing the game 35 seasons with the same formation.I bought hundreds of strikers
none of them was great, whatever quality they had.
From the other hand all my wingers was great players and i never had a bad player
that his overall rating perfomance through the season was below 7.
So i believe that a player rating is strongly connected with position,formation and ofcourse
the overall quality of the team that we use.
Exactly , it's the positions.
There isn't any "successful" (I 'm not using the word "good") GK or ST in TE - unless you 're using them for corners, free-kicks or penalties.
I agree Nik. The player you advised me to keep. My fastest trainer who performed very badly last season is one of my best players this season. Lucky i kept him. No good or bad, game engine decides who performs. Btw, he still plays AMC for me

My personal opinion is that the good player is the one that is great & stable on the season run and he does not need to have all 10s. If he gains skills from games as I would expect him to (being a fast trainer) and delivers an expected performance - he is a good player. Still, he will do it only if all other players are equally good :D

Yes, a fast trainer is a standard value.
If you have to choose between a fast trainer and an old "good performer" , choose the ft without any doubt. Then find a way to use him.
Good or bad player ?
Neither
I use him as an AMR in my ease league games so to have fresh my basic AMR for the tough games in CL and Cup and use Bakal as DR there.
Great scorer (without using him for free-kicks or penalties) , very good rates despite the low % at Finishing.
Nothing special in CL and Cup games.
(I don't remember how he got motm title in one game there :p )

I started good this season, 14 wins with 93-5 goals but not vs strong opponents.
I was worried only about my basic GK who had only 13 saves in 12 games I used him.
But a friend from some levels above, arranged a friendly game (not through asso).
I wasn't present to admire him :p

I think it is plausible because from my experience there are players that perform far from expectations based on their quality and also in relative to the performance of other players of about the same quality or even much lower at that same position. But also, keep into consideration that the game engine and so on changes with time. Way back, MCs were getting like 6 or 7 as if they did nothing much, but this was changed with time.
I just post it to show that there isn't a good GK in TE.
Good GK who makes many saves, means you have a weak team :p
I did have a good GK before but later in his career he became ****, but the most of the team became **** at that time, so don't know what happened. In his early career, he was very active, making super and great saves, including in associations. At that time, I did not have a weak team, and in fact, I had one of my all time best teams. He was the best GK I ever had . For me, what defines a good GK is his activity with respect to number of shots on target. I mean, you can feel he is present, not like some loose hole that is half asleep between the posts. A good GK will step up and do man of the match performances if required, and he will make the difference in tight matches.Quote:

Either he has nothing much to do, or he has but is loose or sleeps. If a GK has nothing much to do, then it is not his fault, but if he should be saving some shots but conceeds and he has a poor save rate based on shots on target, then he is probably bad unless the shots were too good to be saved.Quote:

Yeah, this is the difference between good and bad GKs. Good ones will makes saves when required and will make the difference in tight situations while the bad ones will be mostly loose, conceeding easy goals or even passing the ball back to the opponent, except when the game is trolling the opponent where even ****ty GKs will appear unbeatable. But, finding one is hard. I bought a 21 y.o yesterday as I was not satisfied with other 2 GK my team and I was willing to try something different. The new GK got 1 MoM from 2 matches played where in both matches he saved all the shots on target (2 and 2). So, I can say that he is better than the other two.Quote:

I never had a very good ST, but two seasons ago, ou of fun I took a 2* yourh player and started traing him at the age of 20 he's 120% and scoring goals like crazy so getting very good averages!Quote:

Yea I understand you but it's not my gk it's my defence. I play vs higher quality and 1-3 levels higher in Cl. Despite the fact that all of the teams are equal to mine, I don't have the time to watch the games and make the right changes in order to not concede a goal and get that clean sheet. 80% of those not clean sheets are 1goal conceded. But as I have seen in the animations, this gk saved me many times... He saved 2 penalties the weekend in asso matches. He saved me from disqualification in a tournament. That motm was in cl vs a 134% oppo and 1level higher manager...

In Top Eleven there aren't any super defenders.
Every player performs according to his position (and team's results of course).
A defender is not a key player so don't waste too much greens for them. Spend them for the AMs like Adu, not Agger

The game is biased negatively towards MCs for sure. The assists records are a disgrace, but about the scoring, it also depends on the main formation and orders used. It is expected that going through the middle with no attacking midfielders (AML, AMC, AMR) will result in MCs and STs scoring more.

I have an interesting case this season (somewhat an annoying case). This might interest Khris.
I have an MC/MR, 123% with free-kick special ability. I bought him from the 3rd weekly recommendations list (came as 119%). He played well his first match. But then, he was more like Mario Balotelli. What is even 'funny' he has the Italian nationality. His next Champions League match, he gets sent off. Other coming matches he goes like absent, but what is worst, he seems to have bad influence on the whole team. When he came on as a substitute, the team conceeded a goal instantly, even in the event it happened if I am not mistaken. He has been very **** on free-kicks too.
I do not know what I should do with this player, because I paid 79T for him; his visual quality is high and his profile looks good, but performances indicate that he is a bad apple and he even rots the surroundings too.
