UPDATE 2020.07.21
- Fixed issue with radar chart for copied sheets under the COMPARATOR table. Upon saving, the values in the radar chart were fixed. This is fixed now so that the radar chart in the copied PLANNER sheets works just as well as in the initial PLANNER sheet.
- Fixed the calculation for 'Effectiveness' under the COMPARATOR table. The calculation was absolute. It's relative now measuring the difference between initial and current training session in per cent. This will make it easier for you to draw conclusions.
- Found an error in the estimation for HOLD THE LINE drill which I fixed.

Hi and great job !
One question ... I have some player vith negative (I can calculate this value with another team) value and i can't enter this value as input paramter ... Is it possible to fix thix ?
Thanks a lot if is it possible
Hello Eric and thanks for your kind words.
As to your question, where exactly are you intending to insert negative values? In the INPUT DATA sheet? I'm not sure the estimations in the PLANNER sheet will be correct with negative values as I haven't tested it yet. May I know what the aim is? If I understand what the problem is I might be able to offer a better solution.
In my mind, at least initially, this shouldn't be an issue. If your intent is to power train players, just use the attributes that are shown from the correct account. This will give you the estimated values in a correct way. Then just subtract 20 for each level above the correct account. Or am I missing something? Thanks.

Hello Arphaxad,
When I mean negative value it is in the input sheat .... When you have a player with negative skill like -3% or -25% ... In the game all aplayer vith negative skill are writed with 1% but the are not really 1% they hav negative skill ... After the season begening all player loose 20% on each skealpoints so i my player have 15% on creativity, when he loose 20% ... Creativity becomes -5% but in the game creativity is 1% ...
thanks for your reply and sorry for my french english ;-)
Thanks for clarifying. I can open up to allow for negative values if you wish. I'll do it tomorrow or tonight hopefully and upload it.
But I'm trying to understand how the game interprets negative values. For example, if Tackling is 15 % and Marking 199 % next season they will be 1 % and 179 %. When training HOLD THE LINE, will the average be 90 (1+179=180/2=90) or will it be 87 (179-5=174/2=87)? If it's the former, you shouldn't put negative values in the INPUT DATA sheet because the calculations will be wrong then.

For me ... When i train a player with a negative value for example -5% in creativity .... I train my play with 6 Drill videos analysis, if my player gain 2% of creativity, it is still 1% for the game ... But for me my player is -3% (it gains 2%) ... I see the really %player from another team ...
Thanks for your reply
UPDATE 2020-07-29
- Allowed negative values into the INPUT DATA sheet.
- Allowed for negative average quality in the PLANNER sheet as a result of the above.

I've uploaded a new version which allows for negative input values and negative average drill quality. Thanks for notifying me.
If the case is that values can indeed become negative, how can I identify the real values of my players which have attributes at 1 %? I don't have another account to cross check.
Thanks a lot for your time & your job !
for me it is very important to check the negative value when you train a player ...
Noob question in here.
How do I know the AQ that I should add at the drill order table? Is it the training effect that I have from the Drill training screen?

Hello mate,
Not a noob question at all. The AQ you choose in the table to the left does indeed affect the outcome in the drill table to the right.
Different drills train different attributes/skills. The training efficiency in top eleven is based on the average quality of each drill which is the average of all the skills a specific drill targets. The higher the average quality of a drill, the less efficient the training of that specific drill. The efficiency drops for every incremental 20 % added, starting form 1, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 all the way to 180 which is maximum. Once the average quality for a drill hits 180, your player won't gain more from the drill.
The average quality level you choose depends on your resources. The higher the average quality you choose, the more rest packs it requires. I usually settle for 120, but sometimes if I want to target specific attributes more than others, I set the average quality to 140.
You could play around with this. For example, if you want to train Speed you could set AQ to 120 and train different drills that targets Speed. That way, you're able to increase the Speed attribute very much eventhough you're only training the average quality to 120. You could train Stretch first, then Long run etc etc.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you need anything else.
Thx Arphaxad!
I still a bit confused. Let’s say that I have a shooting technique drill that today is in 20% efficiency and a player that is 70 in shooting.
If I want to get him to 120 I add the QA as 120? Is that it?
How the calculator knows that my drill is only 20%? I didn’t saw the place to add this information.

No problem mate. SHOOTING TECHNIQUE drill consists of the attributes Strength, Shooting, and Finishing.
In the INPUT DATA sheet, you insert your player's name, position and skill values. From that, the tool calculates the drill average for your player in the PLANNER sheet. Based on that, you chose your drill average quality depending on how much you want to train your player. You need to fill in the information in the INPUT DATA sheet first. Have you done it?

Hi Arphaxad, Some drills are not highlighted properly when you select a specific skill on the table.
Attachment 135397
Thanks for discovering it, mate. Appreciate it. Seems to be a minor error when a skill is included in more than 5 drills. The underlying data is correct, but the model doesn't seem to pick it up. Should be fixed in this version: Top Eleven Training Planner v2020.08.30
Let me know if it works for you. Thanks again.

Later I'll add this in the Index of guides, it is a great job really, so useful and developed tool
I have this player but I don't know what values to put on the AQ lines, nor do I know if this will be the most correct training can someone help me? I started playing again now but I was never very knowledgeable in training at the top eleven

Hello mate, and thank you for your question. The values you put in the AQ column depends on how many greens you want to invest in your player and how much you want to develop him. Start bu putting 140 in each cell in the AQ column. That will provide you with an outcome in the grey and yellow fields letting you know what your player will look like. Change according to your preferences.
Once your satisfied with the outcome and overall quality press the "COMPARE" button at the right hand side. After that, change the order of the drills and change the AQ as you desire. The calculator will automatically compare your initial training regime with the current one. The comparison will be shown in the radar chart. It will also provide you with information with regards to which training regime is more efficient, which of the regimes will increase the relevant (white) skills most and which of the regimes will increase the overall quality of your player most. If you prefer the former training regime to the latter, just press the "RE-USE"-button at the right hand side and it'll automatically reset your training regime.
I've attached an example just to show you what I mean. In the pic, you can see two different training regimes, one at the left hand side and the initial regime at the right hand side under the radar chart. The outcome of each session provides different results. While the initial training session creates a more balanced GK, the new session will create a GK with much higher skills with regards to aerial reach, reflexes and agility. But it'll be at the cost of his throwing, kicking and punching ability. In addition to that, the new session will be 12,8 % less efficient than the initial session and the the white skills will be 1,5 percentage points lower. On the other hand, your GK will be 4,6 XP stronger with regards to overall quality. So again, it depends on what type of player you want to create (drill order and AQ values) and how much you're willing invest in him in terms of greens (AQ values).

Play around with the calculator and get back to me if there's something that's still unclear to you.
ok tou to see, but why did you decide to choose the agility ability? and how did you get to the values of 70 in long run? and that’s what I don’t understand. if the sheet is giving a focus training should we not use the training he says?
OK, now I understand what you mean.
First of all, the sheet is not suggesting any focus training for you. You chose the focus training option. This option is available in order to allow you to understand which drills target specific skills. For example, if you chose focus AGILITY, the sheet will highlight the drills that train the agility skill. If you chose focus REFLEXES, the sheet will highlight the drills that train the reflex skill.
You have to chose drills yourself depending on which skills you want to develop. Different drills train different skills. Try to use drills that train white skills.
The level (AQ) is up to you as well. I just chose a random level. But you should chose a level that fulfils your needs and requirements. The higher the number, the better your player will become. But a higher number will require more green packs (rests). I chose 70 for long run because I thought that would be sufficient in order to increase the Fitness skill to the desired level. But I chose 140 for others because I wanted to increase those skills more than the rest.
The calculator will not tell you HOW to train your player. It only helps you to calculate what the player will look like when you train him with different drill orders and levels (AQ). You have to chose drills and levels yourself. Depending on the drill orders and levels, you'll have different results.

First, thanks for your tool and efforts to keep the community having fun and informed!
Just one follow up... I'm mostly following so far with everything that's been discussed. But regarding the AQ level, what does the number itself represent? In your example you used AQ 70... would it mean you need 70 instances of the training to get the desired results (I have 5 training boxes per session, so to get AQ 70 results I would need to run all 5 boxes of the same training 14 times as 14*5=70?), or that it will take 70 training sessions because you only need that particular training listed in one of the boxes as the rest don't add efficient value (diminishing returns so to speak)? Or something else entirely?
Separately, what about the level of training? For shooting/finishing, the spreadsheet says Wing Play is better than Shooting Technique. Cool. But what if my Wing Play is only amateur (level 1/1 whistle) but Shooting Technique is semi-pro (level 2/2 wistles)? Does this even matter for the effectiveness of the training or only reduce the condition penalty?
Thanks in advance :)
i'm sorry but still can't figure how to use it.
what is "Average Drill Quality" means? how can we choose a number to fill it?
"Average drill quality" is the average of skills that the drill give
for example skill drill trains creativity dribbling and heading
so if a player has 109 creativity, 113 dribbling and 90 heading the average would be 104
now keep in mind that the maximum average a drill can have is 180, beyond that point your player would no longer gain experience training
so if for your player all the above 3 skills are white, and we know the average is 104, we can say that we are left with 180-104% to train = 76% meaning that if you use skill drills as many times as you can until you reach the maximum each of the 3 drills would each increase by 76% resulting in 185 creativity, 189 dribbling and 166 heading for a total average of 180
here the sheet asks you how far you want to use a drill, do you want to use it until the average of the skills is 140? or do you want to use it to the max? all the way to 180?
the higher the value you set for average drill quality the more greens that would be required to train
Please note that if a drill gives both whites and grey skills, the experience is gained at a ratio of 2:1
so if our previous player was only an AMR (which would make heading grey), then we know that he would gain 2 points of creativity and 2 points of dribbling for each point of heading he would gain so in that case, if you use skill drill to 180 average you would have a player with 200 creativity, 204 dribbling and 135 heading
sorry if its not well organized
Firstly thanks for making this tool to learn more about the game and understand the game.
I was going through the sheet "Example" Cell D11, and could not understand from where I can get the AQ ( Drill Quality) value.
Thanks in Advance.
Hello, thank you again for creating this tool, it is very useful.
On the other hand small problem but I cannot modify the file to add my players (for example I cannot change the position it is blocked on GK), it puts me in read only, can you help me?
Thanks in advance.
Hi im from vietnamese so my english isn't good. Could you explain the "AQ" column mean? I dont know what i need to fill in that.
Thanks for that work :)
Is this still working? I'm not able to download from the link
I use this spreadsheet all the time, it is so helpful in organising training for the whole season!! So I wondered if it would be updated to reflect the recent changes in training please?
