A short question, if a Bronze 3 team ends the season with over 300 pts, will it be promoted to Bronze 1? Or can you only be promoted one level at the time?

no, 1 season, 1 level.
It's a rule.

Not that I doubted Niko, but I can just confirm this, we where well over 150pts over the limit to be promoted to Bronze 1 from Bronze 3, but we where only promoted to Bronze 2.
A bit strange effect is that before a single tournament has been played in our new division, we are well into territory to be promoted again.
yes, that's what I 'm saying. Not that I doubted Niko, but I can just confirm this, we where well over 150pts over the limit to be promoted to Bronze 1 from Bronze 3, but we where only promoted to Bronze 2.
Even if you gathered the points to promote from Br.3 to Br.1,
first you 'll go to Br.2 and next season to Br.3
One season, one level.
Maybe in the start of the season, you already have the points to promote to next lv without playing a single tournament.
Making a brake or renew the group.
But here comes the penalty of -20% of points in every season.
With that way, an abandoned FA group, season after season will end to Bronze 3 again.

Yeah, we are now in Bronze 2 and need 300 pts in total to go to Bronze 1, but we are currently at 650 pts and will get to around 750+ pts before this season is up, which means that we get into Silver 1 territory (4 levels up). When next season in Bronze 1 starts we will have lost 20%, which puts us at 750-150=600 pts. 600 pts will still be enough for promotion two levels up, to Silver 2, before a single tournament has been played.
But I recon that its still very valuable to stock-pile points, because the higher up you get in the divisions -- the more you loose at the end of each season, right?
Like in Platina you will loose 20%*1350 pts=270 pts at the end of each season. The maximum pts you can make during a season is 36x8+50X4=488 pts, and that is of course practicably impossible to get. But even so, you can only at the most gain 118 pts per season at that level. And I mean, lets say you "only" win 3 of 4 tournaments against the best of the best in the platinum level, and finish 3rd in the 4th tournament, with an avg of say 25 pts per match-up -- it will give you 25x8+50x3+10x1=360 pts and a gain of merely 90 pts per season while still doing great. If you "only" win half the games at that level, you will loose approximately 20-30 pts on the season...
Have anyone reached the platinum division yet?

I'm in a dead association, sadly. I watch the stars drop every week it seems, haha.
Stockpiling points above the promotion level puts an association in a better position to receive rewards at the end of the season (the top 10 spots).

This is the 4th month - season of associations.
Every body started from Bronze 3.
1 season > 1 level, so the best teams who managed to promote every season (no matter the Cups or the extra points), are now Silver 3 and the next week Silver 2.
All the best teams who 'll manage to gather points and promote, they will be in Platinum, in 6 months - seasons.
