Does anyone else get annoyed when their player scores a goal and provides an assist but still gets a match rating of 5?

Happens too when he scores the winner or scores two goals.

Seems like some players are marked for mediocrity and even if they perform well in a match they will always get rated low.

Top Eleven shd look into the match rating logic.

Yes I think if a player scored a goal in a winning game he should get at least a 7.....

got a funny story. a CF got a hattrick goal (7), a CM got a hattrick assist (6), MOM goes to my LB for failing to score on a counter break (9). i only read his name once during that game. dont know what my RB did but he got an 8 [insert funnies]

Exactly! The ratings are so random. This needs some improvements.

Previously my MC consistently get a 6 even tho he scores a goal in some matches. The final match rating made me reluctantly start him.

At first I figured besides d goal he prob didnt do anything else but after last night's match my AML score & got an assist but was rated 5. Hmmm...

Yes, ratings do seem to relate to how often they touch the ball.

They replied on twitter saying that if a player scores a goal but misses a hatful of chances, he'll be rated 6.

Still sounds a bit unfair to me if you take into consideration that the goal happens to be the winner, then logically it should earn him a fair rating of 7/8.

AFAIK 6 is average. if one doesnt contribute anything a 6s a bare minimum
