Way too many long commentaries.
Gotta laugh at "he shows...everything was clean".
Who says that?

still no change for the "-" thing .... seen today's match it self ...

Yep. Must just have been missed. I could guess at several reasons for this - my first is that different devices are using Commentary packs that are listed slightly differently. So there will be several different instances of the comment.
The first would also explain why if you watch a friendly between 2 teams with different devices you will see the same events occur and similar comments but, sometimes, a slightly different version of that comment from 1 device to the other.
Again the dash appeared in the possession bar but when I checked it in the comments section there was no dash but the commentary at that moment when the dash appeared was repeated again...

I just got a player who got injured and had to be stretched off but then was "not too happy" about being substituted.
The gramatical and even orthographic erros are massive. This games is revealing how ridiculously programmed it is.
I've been playing for over one year. The game looks now more ridiculous by the day besides I'm losing interest. September is coming, I''ve no will too keep playing much longer. Time to move on.

Does anyone know what language they write the initial commentary before translating to other languages? As I assumed that they write it in one language and then translate to be understood in multiple languages. Again I assumed (and probably just because I'm English & we're arrogant) that the initial commentary would have been written in English, and then all other languages translated from that, but seeing as the English is woeful on the commentary that can't be the case, so what is the original language?
There are so many endless number of mistakes in the commentary that I had given up on improving it but this is so preposterous that I couldn't resist...:D...

Dutch Language:
Current - Er is geen tijd meer over! Dit is het einde van de eerste helft
Fixed - Er is geen tijd meer over! De wedstrijd is afgelopen
This appears when the match has ended, but in the description is mentioned that only the first half is over. Several people mentioned this for their language as well, so I think it's wrong in every language.
Another point is that sometimes when a player gets yellow, the name of the player is not showed, but something like {0}_
(thanks for moving this, I appreciate all the work you put into this).
So eventually Nordeus got so embarrassed that they decided to move this thread in Bugs Section so that no one can see it further...Good...:D...
Could have got moved to here because we've been getting posts in this section about the commentary -- and it's easier to join them to this thread if they are in the same section. :D
Here are a few from today's game. All in English.
Current: "[Defender] tackles and take both the ball and the player"
Should be: "[Defender] tackles and takes both the ball and the player"
Comment: Subject-verb agreement.
Current: "[Team] has a lot of space in the opposing half! He could counter-attack"
Should be: "[Team] has a lot of space in the opposing half! They could counter-attack"
Comment: Teams are not a guy. They are several guys, sometimes as many as eleven at once.
Current: [On a corner kick] "[Player 1] kicks a weak centre pass/[Player 2] throws himself in for the header!"
Should be: "[Player 1] kicks a soft centre pass/[Player 2] throws himself in for the header!"
Comment: Or possibly a "short" pass. A weak corner isn't going to be at head height by the time it reaches the box.
Current: [On a corner kick] "It's a chance! But [Player] arial defense dominates"
Should be: "It's a chance! But [Player] aerial defense dominates"
Comment: Aerial is an adjective. Arial is a font.
Current: "[Player] is trying to dribble passed his opponents"
Should be: "[Player] is trying to dribble past his opponents"
Comment: Typo.
And one from the nightcap. Still English.
Current: "[Player 1] leaves the field accompanied by a standing ovation/[Player 2] gets comes into the game"
Should be: "[Player 1] leaves the field accompanied by a standing ovation/[Player 2] comes into the game"
Comment: Too many verbs, my dear Mozart.
ho vinto un giocatore all'asta ma non è presente nella mia rosa. cosa devo fare per averlo in rosa?
Had another one that struck me as odd. I didn't take notes at the time, so these are paraphrases.
First: "[Player] is injured and has to be stretchered off! It didn't seem that serious at first"
Me: Oh crap. OK, put in a sub for him...
Then: "[Substitute] comes in. [Injured Player] goes off and is not too happy about it!"
The only other time I've seen that second status is when I pull someone who's having a good game. Dude, you don't get to complain about being subbed out if you can't stand up. You are not Monty Python's Black Knight.
Reserved...
Hebrew translation of comments is just awful. It looks like you let a young child to write the sentences. Between the words can be found curses like cock, maniac and names of people that don't have connection to the game.

Here are some tips for a better translation
8. it's not Heb.
and you must use align right. Hebrew is written from right.

Dutch
Current - ""(speler/player) neemt de corner kort!""
Fixed - ""(speler/player) neemt de vrije trap!"" (or something like this)
Sometimes when I should get a free kick, I get a corner. This should be a free kick (vrije trap) instead. I think this is not only dutch language, but in all languages.
Hm, how about this, guys?
Language - Anyish
Current - babble/twoddle/bollocks (mostly)
Fixed - get (a) native football enthusiast(s) to chuck in some ideas, run them through the forums, implement, repeat
Comment - It was somewhat terrible to begin with; now it's just unprofessional, abysmal, so bad that sometimes, I burst out laughing, together with other gamers who take the mickey out of me for playing 'that kiddy sh*t'
What's the big deal, anyway? The commentary doesn't seem to show any correlation to match events/outcome. Nobody gets hurt, apart from Phil who gets a headache reading it (you should sue them, Phil; now that's the language they understand without translation I'm sure).
T11 (just like the rest of those not only FB-based Johnny-come-lately internet firms) functions as a banknote printer; for those that own it. Their employees and mods are your usual brand of corporate space-wasters to make sure it stays that way.
Changes, if any, are driven by the question 'how can I/we increase my/our revenue as much as possible as quickly as possible?'
Sometimes, I seem to hear: 'How can we give our customers/users the best possible experience, and still make a decent profit for yonks to come?'
But then the alarm clock goes off...
Away from the internet, if any regular Joe tried to run their shop like this, they'd be out of business before they can say 'shoot - I'm broke'.
Only on the web, folks...
