I am not the right person for asking this question I use same formation for several seasons, only with slight changes. I also use same tactics for several seasons (depending on formation).

For narrow diamond I would use:
- attacking mentality
- attacking through the middle
- pressing on whole pitch
- agressive tackling
- short passes
- zoning defense
- no counter-attacks
- no off-side trap
