Opposition plays 5 2mc in middle, 3 stk
    My possession was 80:20

4 of the 5 defenders rated 8 after the match and the fifth a7. Gk did nothing and got a 6
    He won 1 nil away.

My tactics were normal, easy, mixed and short, zonal, counter on and off.
    He got three yellow cards

What formation should I have used, as 2nd leg comming up

Never do easy tackling apart from against illegal formation.

Try 433, red arrow on full backs, attack mentality, mix passing, no counter.

I am playing with the 3w-1dmc-1mc-2(amr-aml)-3st guy later on

    VS

Wait is he playing 3w or 4 at the back? Dont play 433 if he plays 4 at the back.

also his opp played 3st against 4 defense.... what's your answer?.... why his opp should, and instead he shouldnt? I mean, the result was narrow

The 4 def can hold up against a 3 striker attack and get a spare man to win somewhere else on the pitch. Why I suggest he can play 4 at the back and dont recommend playing 3 vs 4 in attack. The adv in attack is not worth losing the extra man.

You are reading it wrong. The one nil was for another match.

Tim was this in response to my 5 2 3 post?

What is easy tackle for? And why to be used only against illegal formation?

I am still confused as to attacking mentality and red arrows, as this is seen as the same thing to me. Do both not mean "going forward"?
Can blue arrows be used in attack mentality? As this does not make sense to me.

    Thanks for any input.

Started with 4-4-2 classic and then changed to narrow diamond.
    goals came from narrow diamond.

My next opponent is playng 4-1-3n-2. I was thinking something like 4-3n-2(amr-aml)-st. What about orders?
