How to face 4-3-1-2

i won 5-1 in 1/4 CL first leg with 3-5-2 flat.
i aloso lost 5-3 in the second leg,but i vas away.

The game i won, i transformed the formation in 3-1-5-1, at 2 or 3-1, and it worked.

Also should I play defensive with counter attack since they dont have DMC ? or play offensive with offside trap ?
