My Asymmetric formation tweaked from the total football concept but with a stronger six man FM.
It can be played with either DR or DL.
Played with DR:

AMR----------AMC
---------ST
Works well in countering most flank attack teams, don't try it against 3 x Strikers. It's also not been used against 4-1-3-2.
For me it has also worked reasonable well against the narrow diamond.
Not a bad formation for when the game engine takes a chunk out of your MC's with injuries.
With the right duel positions the whole outer circle of players can be rotated clockwise or anti clockwise to cover any injured player with just one sub.
GK, MC and striker are the ones you need as direct replacements the other take your pick.

Whoops! edit I thought you were after the butterfly orders, Oh! well, there here for someone else to copy for the future.
Mainly played with Normal Mentality but is effective in both others also depending on how you see the game.
Adding up arrows to the AML/AMR is usually all you will need, personally I play it with the centre DC with down arrows in Normal and remove them for the others, Focus always down the flanks, passing, Attacking or Normal short, mixed or long in defensive.
Zoanl except for attacking. No O/S unless attacking and your defence is better than his attack.
Force counter can be used from defensive.
Don't use up arrows on the DML/DMR unless they are ML/MR also and only if you are really desperate for a goal then also add down arrows to all DC's.

He visto tus formaciones recomendadas y creo que son muy interesantes. Mi pregunta es : tengo que enfrentarme a un oponente de fuerzas muy igualadas, el un punto por encima de mi, y veo que normalmente utiliza 4-2-1-2-1 y 4-1-2-3. que formacion me recomiendas para enfrentarme a el.

It depends what style of 4-2-1-2-1 it is. Does he play 4-2-1-2W-1 (DL-DC-DC-DR-DMC-DMC-MC-AML-AMR-ST) or 4-2N-1-2N-1 (DL-DC-DC-DR-DMC-DMC-MC-AMC-AMC-ST)?

For 4-2N-1-2N-1 there is no counter given, but it is a very centered based tactic. Use the wing offensively to your advantage. Because of his AMCs I would give 3-5V-1 or 4-5V-1 a try.

So far no one beats him. In our first match the game was tied. In that match I"ve used 4-5-1, but the score was 0:0. I wanna beat him. Any advices?
