I don't know, i never tried this before.
But i suppose that:
- the 2 DMC will counter the 2 AMC
- the 3 MC will be superior at the 2 opposite MC
- 4 defenders can be enough to counter the 2 opposite ST.
I never tested it but it seems to be logical to me , because opposite team seems to be very offensive and you have to counter it with a defensive team using counterattacks.
Hi
I saw this formation which don't appear in the table:
5-1DMC-2(ML-MR)-1AMC-1
I suppose that 3-5-2 flat is a good choice, what do you think about this?
Does anyone have an idea the best formation against 3-4-3 narrow diamond
Lc Dc Rc
Dcm
Mc Mc
Amc
St St St
Didnt realise someone got back to me thanks ive already reposted as I lost the first leg of champs to this formation, does anyone else have any other suggestions in case the 5-1-3-1 doesnt work??
I think I figured out another counter for 4-4-1-1: 3W-2N-3W-1-1 with motivated flanks.
I fielded my Troll FC yesterday vs. a team with even slightly better quality, result 5-1 for my non-token team, that is now in the CL quarter finals.

Something is wrong in the first post... I lost noisly against a 3N-4-3 weaker using a 4-3N-2(AML/AMR)-1 ...probably this formation is not so appropriate given it doesn't defense so well. Things were better when i turned in a classic 4-4-2 but it was too late, final: 2-3.
