4-2DMC-2MC-2ST isn't listed as a formation (I shall call it the defensive square). What do you all think is best against it?

4-5-1V style looks like it will work, or maybe 3N-5-2V style? (Same as 4-5-1V but with an ST instead of defender). With focus passing down the flanks.

Or perhaps 4-1-3N-2 with focus passing down the middle? The only difference between this and the opponent is you'd have an MC instead of a DMC.

I play Vs weaker opponent tomorrow and 2 of my plaYers are injured, so dmc and ml play as mc, and mr/ml play as aml /amr do you think this might get a big problem? İ let my best players rest for cl game on same day
İf you ask for counter formations let us know how it worked so that others know too

You should be able to play 2 games without swapping your players on the same day, just take them off after about 60 mins after you have secured the win. This is what I do all the time. They can get down to 50-60% health after your two matches and be fully recovered by your next match the day after, and it doesn't matter too much if they start a match at around 80%.

    Hello,

I have a quarter final in the CL and playing against an opponent who's playing 4-1-4-1.
At the first page i read that i have to counter it with 3W-4-3 but i tried it out and didnt got good results. Can you help me please?

Maybe i had the wrong orders? My team is the better quality (7 points difference)

    Thanks a lot!

Luck really not with me. In the League, my total lost is 3 matches. In all matches I lost to 3N-2DML/R-3-2. I used 4-4-2 Classic but still no luck. Seems that 4-4-2 is not suitable for me.

Any other formation suitable to defeat 3-2-3-2?

W means wide, in case of defense DL-DC-DR.

The first leg was losing him with 0-1 at 80 minutes using my team 3-1-3-1-2.

How can I win this guy with 4-1-4-1 at second leg?

I played 4-4-2 Classic with normal mentality, down both flanks, short passing, own half, normal tackling, zonal, no counterattack, no offside. One that really disappoint me was I had mostly more than 55% possession but still lost. Maybe my STs are not good enough
