I've been scrooling through some pages now and I didn't found any info on this formation that I'm using very succesfully.

    4-2-3-1

    DR - DC - DC - DL
    MC - MC
    AMR - AMC - AML
    ST

Red arrow on DR, DL, AMR, AML
    Offensive
    Short passes
Mixed where to play the ball
    Zone marking
    Normal tackling
    No counter or offside trap

I'm a low 5 star team now and in first place after beating the first who has a middle 6 star team with this formation. He was playing a diamond formation.

Like I said, I've been doing well and hope to continue do well against most teams, but lately I've been thinking about switching to a offensive 4-5-1 V formation.
What do you think about this formation that I'm playing and how would you play to win against me?
And should I switch to 4-5-1 V formation?

    Thanks!

IMO the narrow diamond is not really suitable to play attacking mentality and I'd question how you would use mixed focus with no MR/ML or AMR/AML to attack down the flanks.

Playing against the wide diamond you may have more success like this.

    ----------DC--DC--DC--------------
    ---------------DMC------------------
    ML---↓MC↓----MC----↓MC↓----MR
    ----------------ST

Use short passing through the middle with normal mentality pressing your own half. Zonal marking. NO O/S, No Force counter.

    Or.

4-1-3-1-1/3Dc's-1-4-1-1/3-1-3-1-2 is good against the diamond tried and tested over four seasons.

    -DL---DC---DC---DR
    --------DMC
    -ML-----MC------MR
    --------AMC
    ---------ST
Same orders just change Focus to mixed as this can attack through both the centre and flanks and maybe mixed passing if you get really desperate.
If you need a goal or two, take off a DL/DR move the other three into DC's and add a striker or another MC, which ever you prefer, your MR/ML will still track his so you should have no problems as long as there not greyhounds.
Oh! and if you do remove a Defender take the arrows off the MC's.

    Hi guys.

    Tomorrow I have 2 games (15:15 | 22:25), which I'll not be able to follow ...
I wonder, what are the best tactics to win this 2 formations:

    4-1-2-2-1

    --------------ST--------------
    --------AMC------AMC--------
    ML-------------------------MR
    -------------DMC -------------
    DL------DC--------DC------DR

    and this:

    3-3-3-1

    --------------ST--------------
    AML---------AMC---------AMR
    -------MC----MC----MC-------
    ----------------- -------------
    -------DC----DC----DC--------

    ?

    Thanks in advance

good explanation bro. My past experienced, I did tried this formation against it but only effective if u hv a good quality team.this formation has no midfield so it's easy to get position of the ball and dominated the midfield. btw 4-5-1V n 41212 narrow style is perfect for me. The different is, i never put red arrows of DL/DR vs wide diamond.
