I haven't got any dml/dmr for the first tactic, may I replace 'em with blue-arrowed ml/mr? Or red-arrowed dl/dr?

you easily can won against him with any formation even your current formation because the quality of your main squad but anyway use 3-1-4-2 or 3-1-4-1-1 using normal mentality, zonal marking, own half, short passing, normal tackling, no counterattack and no offside trap.

and specially 3 1 4 1 1 with red arrows at DMC and AMC and good luck ;)

Con impostazioni normal, flanks, no counter no offside.
Puoi aggiungere frecce rosse sui due AM per aumentare la pressione offensiva.

Leaving his AM's wide open is not the best idea.

3-2-2-2-1 Butterfly would be better, or anything where you block his AM's from supplying the two strikers, three DC's with down arrow on the centre one is enough to take care of them.
He's also going to hit you down the flanks, another reason to block those AM's. and play the butterfly as your AM's block his DR/DL from getting forward. :D

Just a word of warning playing a MC with down arrows will only work during normal play (slow building attacks) if you lose possession after attacking your MC will be nowhere to be seen if he hits you on the counter.
If you are really struggling I'd risk playing a DC as DMC, IMO it will work better may get a yellow card but .....

Hi I'm new to the forum and Top Eleven. I'm playing in my first season and I made it to the cup semi finals.

How do I beat the following formation, the 4-1-3-2 Wide? I'm looking for alternative formations since I do not have a DML on my roster as I saw in many of the solutions including the beginning of this tread...

Any formation consisting of two ST, you need three DC's when playing a flat three.
Also, maple leaf how were the players set as there are two ways.

Tommorow I will play 1st leg of semifinal of the Champions League against strong team with strange formation:

Before I reply. Correction: I only used one striker with AMC.

My orders were normal attacking, through the middle, short passing, normal tacking, zonal marking. Counter and Trap were both off.

I switched to two strikers by removing the AMC and changed it though both flanks in the second half and gave up no goals.

I've to play against the leader of my league, which is playing wide 4-3-3
