what's the best formation to counter 4-3-2-1 (dl-dc-dc-dr3mc,aml-amr,1St) .i don't have a dmr-dml-mr..I've read posts here and they all based on a counter formation with dML-dmr..I have a stronger attacking team but he beat me 2-1 last time..help will be appreciated
Use 32311 (DL-DC-DR, DMC-DMC, ML-MC-MR, AMC, ST) - Maple Leaf. Short passing through the center, normal mentality, zonal marking, own half pressing, no counter, no offside trap

Hi dv8r. Thought I'd let you know that I ended up drawing again, this time it was 3-3. But the opponent was watching (first time I've had this happen) and he changed to 4-1-2-3 after I took the lead. I tried changing to 4-5-1 V style after he did this to be a bit more defensive but maybe it was too late by then.Quote:

Narrow diamond don`t have a lack of defense on flanks lol (dl/dr !!) is lack of flank attack and u can use 3 - 4 -3 .... i know this post is very helpful but i try to think first then apply whats here suggested !
