How to Win Against Any Formation?

Hey, I need to some help countering the following formation (4-1-2-3):

---MC---MC---
-----DMC-----
DL-DC---DC-DR

*Overally his players are better than mine, not by much.

i'm still a rookie(manager level 2)
but this is what i would do if i were you

dl--dc--dc--dr
----dmc(up)---
ml-mc-mc-mr
-----st--------
normal mentality, force counter, own half, no offside trap, mix passing, down the flanks...

this is what i would have done... but again im only a lv 2 manager, hope it works for you
this is basically a 4-3-3 if he has arrow on dmc...
so just have more midfielders than him and focus passing down the flanks.
doubt you can go wrong with these 2 key points
