What is the most defensive formation?

Hi all, I tried to search for similar thread but fail to find one.

I would like to check with you guys what do u think is the best defensive "park the bus" style formation that is set for NOT TO LOSE.

What do u guys think?

I tried the below but still lose to team of lesser strength. Thanks.

I have seen two teams really really succsesfull with a park the bus formation.
3dc-dml, dmc, dmr,-2mc-amc-striker.

I havent played that. So i dont know the orders. But i think definitly trough the middle.

You could always use the 5-5 brick wall. Otherwise what you have is fine

I suggest the formation I am using: dl, dc, dc, dr-dmc-ml, mc, mc, mr-st. No counter attack, and mentality defensive.

It may be illegal, but in theory is as defensive as you can get. It would be nice to see how other managers would approach this

I played the 3N-3W-2N-1-1 today. Loved every second of it. Scored two goals. Took off my DMC and put on my AML for a bfly formation and scored three more.

Used the typical defensive tactics, through the middle with red forward arrows on AMC & DMC.

As for the "Most defensive formation"? It doesn't exist. Do you want to overload midfield? Do you want your strikers to have all kinds of ball time? Do you just want to tackle the ball carrier all game long?
