I played a 4-4D-2 (Wide) with a red forward arrow on the DMC only. I had lots of success, but this was at the lower levels. I play mostly a 4-5V-1 now. Also, I have trouble buying really awesome strikers, lol.

Wondering if I took the time to type out that fancy formation? Nah, check out my python script!

Well season 1 and 2 I played flat 4-4-2 with red arrows on ML and MR, blizted everything like I said, except Cup final where I narrowly lost. So far in season 3 I've mainly used a 3N-1-3W-1-2 and a now this 4-4-2 narrow diamond. There are alot of low quality teams in my league compared to me, my average quality is 33.3, whereas my opponents range from early teens to 26 I think. So its hard to tell against these opponents if my tactics are good or not. The cup competitions have been alot different due to opponents being of similar quality, currently in Semi-Finals of both, Champs League has seen narrow victories, but in the Cup for the first 3 round I went through on away goals each time. First leg of semi-final finished 3-3 so want to get a tactic sorted for the second leg.

Send friend requests to your cup opponents after you face them. Top Eleven tries to create a league with as many friends as possible (I've had 6 or 7 "friends" the past three seasons). Note that you won't win league very often and will make winning a triple crown near impossible, but you'll have more fun in my opinion.

Ahh I didn't know that, thanks for the tip

Yeah winning everything constantly would be boring tbh, so would be good to be in a really competitive league!

I have gained about 8 'friends' so far this season alone, 1 of which I'm currently against in Champions League, so hopefully a few of them will be in my League next season!

What level are you at right now?

I play at level 6 with Foresters and level 3 with Guide FC. See my team showcase for both

Guide FC I'm purposely not adding too many friends and I still have a token buyer in that league :/ pooo.

It's a waste not to attack or even hard attack playing a ND, why bother! if you play neutral play a 4-4-2 Classic, already!
