    League help ASAP.

Opponent league leader. 6-7* players. Should I use short pass, Def mentality both flank, man2man, high pressing? I use 45v1. He's using 413n11. Help ASAP. It's his home match.

I bet someone gonna say "may God bless you my friend".

    Sorry, my bad English.

The thing is that, you can face these teams if, you do like me, train 1st phisical stats till 9* lol
Then you can face too 9*, as I did in Cup time ago when tryed to go for one and deleted some full 9* team been -3/4 levels...

pfff.... I would think more in prepare 2 tactics, one attacking and one very defensive with long passing, high presing and man to man making as this gave a bonus since one year ago.

Apart from try to find the way to have the control in chances/possesion with one or another strategy too, do adequate changes, if you have a freekick and fail, change the man who pick freekicks, as maybe the next work, players that don't appear should be sub' at 2nd half and you can try moving players inside the same lines to see if one work better in left than the right side.

Then is this... may the troll stay with you.

I also would recommend the counter formation approach (see the threads in this section).

I have two very good accounts at earlier levels. There is one player that befriended both my accounts early that I have faced several times in leagues and Cups that is very active and constantly changes formations and watches all games, but he doesn't seem to have picked up on the fast trainer thing so his team is maybe 75-80% while my teams are much better. Still he has tied me once and he is always hard to beat. I have checked him out a bit, he got a new formation for more or less every game. This season he has won all games but one in his league, and his avg. rating just isn't that good. He just gets so much out of his teams.

In short I think it is about this, try to expose your opponent without being exposed at defense. Haha sounds a bit dumb, but you can put yourself in a favorable position with this approach.

My formation isn't perfect, but it has definitely held its own against very good players in Association games, definitely taking some scalps against better and much more experienced player. This is how he counters it (I am pink):

    As you can see:
-He does not considerably looses the battle at center field, which is very important for possession. 3 MC/DMCs vs my 3 MC/DMCs.
-He has one DC that will do a good job against my sole attacker, IE he is not over-matched at central defense.
-He got a DMC that takes care of my AMC.
-He is as strong as me on the "bottom" side of the pitch (my left).
-He is stronger than me at the left side of the pitch.
-He has two strikers vs. my two central defenders.

I could counter him, by like having 3 strikers and presence down the flanks. He couldn't handle it, but I do not have 3 strikers lol. I only have 1 decent, run a short bench.

But I think I will win, I got almost 30% on him. But I wouldn't at all be surprised if it still was tight. Or even if he takes a scalp against me. Its the Cup so I got a shot in two games, and I be damned if he sends me out of it but he is definitely doing his best to put up a fight.

My point is this, you cannot find a magic formula -- but you can give yourself a chance to win. Many formations doesn't quite do that against a bunch of other formations. Look at my formation, its very strong at center with 4 central mid-fielders. If a team has 2 or less central MCs/DMCs against it, and isn't much better than me, it feels like I always win pretty big. I get a ton of possession. I have a FK specialist, and with that possession I get many FKs. Even if its one of those games where my team feels snake-bitten, they usually come through in some form.

In short, if this makes sense, you need to give the other player something, but don't give him something that "will" win him the game, and give yourself an advantage in another area that CAN win you the game (on a flank, at central attack or something like that).

    Good luck!

vs 413n11 I would go with 3DC-1DMC-3MC-AML-AMR-ST defense/counter/flanks/mix pass/zonal/low pres. blue arrow for 1 DC & DMC, red arrow for AML-AMR.
    LV1 win bonus.
may the force be with you
