How can 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond beat the 4-5-1v, it makes no sense

I agree I play 4-5-1 AML AMR and not lost to the narrow diamond, although have drawn..in saying that I am playing the narrow diamond today in CL after we drew the last match...
