How can 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond beat the 4-5-1v, it makes no sense

before one hour i played with 4-5-1 v style, i used 4-5-1 with 3 mc's and win 1-0 till minute 75 and i change to 4-1-2-1-2 and score 2 goals. so i think the narrow diamond is the best way to win vs 4-5-1 v style
