I used 4-3N-2(AML/AMR)-1 against a weaker opponent. I was 0:2 behind until half time, switched to 4-4-2 classic and won 3:2.

    Yes,4-4-2 is good against 4-1-3N-2.
4-5-1 V style is not good against 4-1-3N-2
Butterfly is good against 4-1-3N-2 with red arrows on DML/DMR/AML/AMR.

Yup 4-5-1 v style motivated is not too good. Always got draw.\
What about the tactic/arrow for butterfly and 4-4-2? Never try it before,

    4-4-2 >> Up to ml/mr
order : Normal mentality, down both flanks, mixed passing with off side trap.
    Butterfly >> Up to dml/dmr/aml/amr
order : mixed passing + whole pitch. On my opinion CMIIW

I used the 4-4-2 against an opponent with 4-1-3-2. Like you advised with normal mentality, down both flanks, mixed passing with off side trap...I won on the away game 0-1 but lost using the same formation at home 1-2, even though the possesion was greatly in my favour... :/
