So use the 4-3-2-1 with 3 MC and AML/AMR

Rule of thumb: Don't give red arrows to ALL your players. Also, don't play with hard attacking.

I used hard attacking and red arrows on all midfielders and strikers against a lesser rated side using 5 defenders and it back-fired big time.

dv8r is right, it takes advantage of the space on the wings whilst remaining strong in the centre of the pitch.

    attack down both flanks

I used 4-3N-2(AML/AMR)-1 against a weaker opponent. I was 0:2 behind until half time, switched to 4-4-2 classic and won 3:2.

    Yes,4-4-2 is good against 4-1-3N-2.
4-5-1 V style is not good against 4-1-3N-2
Butterfly is good against 4-1-3N-2 with red arrows on DML/DMR/AML/AMR.

Yup 4-5-1 v style motivated is not too good. Always got draw.\
What about the tactic/arrow for butterfly and 4-4-2? Never try it before,

    4-4-2 >> Up to ml/mr
order : Normal mentality, down both flanks, mixed passing with off side trap.
    Butterfly >> Up to dml/dmr/aml/amr
order : mixed passing + whole pitch. On my opinion CMIIW
