I just played a slightly better 4-4-2 team using the same. I won 3-2 (1st leg) but thinking of switching to a defensive formation for the away game, would 5-3-2 work?

about the 5-3-2 .. am against playing with 5 defenders .. but that's just me ... i would go for a 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly

i played my game with 4-1-3-2 as shown before .. had double the shots on target .. won 0-1 though ... he had a nearly empty stadium and didnt watch the match .. so i had 7% bonus possession ...
i think my tactic wasn't good enough .. or i wasn't that lucky in that match .. anyway am gonna try a different tactic next time .. Suggestions anyone ?

The best way to beat 4-4-2 flat is 4-5-1 v style. Against stronger/same quality, its doesn't matter for 4-5-1 v.
    This pic for example,

I think the same but I think there is matter what arrows and what mentality u use?
Explain us your way to beat him?
Sometimes I dont use any arrows and playing attacking with counter-attacks.Sometimes I use red arrows on DL/DR/AML/AMR without counter-attacks.What is your way?

    4-4-2 vs 4-1-2-1-2.
    28.5 vs 30.8
    3-0 after first halp.

    ok .. this is strange .. i read a post here suggesting a 4-4-2 classic as a counter to 4-5-1 V-Style ..
and here am reading the exact opposite .. hmmm..
i have a game against a motivated 4-5-1 V-Style (red arrows on DL,DR,AML and AMR) i believe.. my opponent is 10 quality points higher on overall average than my team .. am at 4-5 stars team and he's at 6-7 stars .. he has 44 goals in 17 league matches so far, so i guess his 4-5-1 V-Style isn't the counter attacking one, but a a motivated one . .. .
so any suggestions on how to beat him ?

    4-5-1 beats 4-4-2.
