JUST TIP HOW TO BEAT 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond

Yeah...4-4-2 is hard to beat with any formation as there is no effective counter for it.

Im leading my league using 4-1-2-1-2 ND this season and yesterday lost @ home 0-3 against a weaker 4-1-3W-2.

Every month there's an update to the game. I believe they (un)balance teams so they can keep the game unpredictable. What fun would it be if you could win just by following the charts?

u have to buy a player who can play as a ml/aml and one mr/amr so u can easy change from 4-1-4-1 (normal, counter) to 4-5-1 V style...
also u can change very quick to a 3-1-4-2 (change st for a dl/dr) or 3-5-2 V style... u just have to buy also a player who can change from outside defender to inside defender dl/dc oder dr/dc... then you are so flexible to change your formation in a match... i have also a dmc/dc... so if you are winning against a "bigger" team u can switch to 5 defenders...

...and i never spend one dollar or euro for token in my life... its easy if you know which time u have to buy players...

if your opponent got a amc, u ever have to put a dmc,... if he dont got a dmc u have to put a amc... if he have no man on the outside midfield (like 4-1-3n-2 or 4-1-2-1-2 narrow) then u have to play always over the wings...



this is my startformation in most games, if the opponent just have one st and one amc i play with 3 dc and 2 striker!



for this 4-1-4-1 i use normal mentality, both flanks, own half, normal takling, mixed passing, zonal marking, counter, no offside!

this is my start formation this season to the most games, and im first in the league (level 11, 14 games, 8 points before 2nd, no match loose) also championsleague im in the 1/8 final win the first game away 0-3 and in the cup 1/4 final win the homegame also 3-0...

i hope for the tripple and i will be proud because i trust u i never buy any token... im strong (68,5) and the age is by 23,5...

The suggested counter for ND in this thread is a similar counter that I occasionally use against the ND. It's similar, because instead of using a DMC, put that player in central defence so you have a 5-3-2, which I normally set defensive counter & mixed passing/focus.

Have not lost to a ND using this formation to date.

Note to hotheads: Just because a suggested counter doesn't work doesn't mean it's crap.

Aside, as FC1879 says, it is always good to buy AML/ML or DC/DL or DC/DMC if you play a flexible formation like 4-4-2, 4-1-4-1, 3-1-4-2 etc. Takes less substitution or even zero.

U guys are funy, talking about which formation beats another, it doesnt make a difference in football, u can play any formation and win s long as ur team is superior. I have 11 scout player as long as u dont have a better team u wont win and i won't win if my oponent has 7 star player. Only the player skills matter in the game of football, if u have messi o ronaldo dont tnink about formation haha its hilarious.... And by the way an so called ilegal formation doesnt mean u beat them, if he has better players u still get ass kicked..

its true what peter said... well you still can kick ass in cup match though...

the point is if you dont want to spend in tokens....all you need to do is to log in, manage, cure the injuries....see the market.... update ur players... sell the 30's age players... DONE.... im sure youll have plenty of trophies collected

At this midnight *in my country*, Im just gonna share a tip how to beat 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond. I often faced this formation, and can be called that I always succeed to beat this formation. I dunno if my tip doesnt work for your team and I'll be so sorry. But It always works for me.

I always use 4-1DMC-3N-2 to beat 4-1-2-1-2 ND. Like this picture:
