well, random/troll/fixed results were always in the game. But there are other, long term changes. For example - Almost about a year before, they tweak the engine so not to have those big scores...

btw fix your team in our asso group. The beatability margin is very small there if you 're playing oop :p

a "well trained" team (:p) today might win 25-0 an abandoned team and tomorrow get a 2-0 vs another abandoned team. Why ?

A more simple solution is to have a secondary team for asso games. Like the IC national team.
