No, it's not a mistake or a bug. This is almost a "rule" of the game, to promote the 8th of the league. Next time, if you want to stay in the same level, go for the 9th position :o

I am level 6 and so far I have never faced any decent rivals except first season. Been unbeaten the last three seasons. I am always drawn with teams 20 to 30 percent weaker than me usually abandoned...

Aaarghh, I was so close to the poker. I won the CL, the Cup and the association. And in the league......... second. 20 goals scored more then the number 1. I took 11 spots in the top 5 ratings. Sigh....
