Another season, another 'bad' result. Had 70/30 possession, twice as many shots, higher quality etc etc and lost 2-0!! Oddly all my player had ratings of 7 or 8, which makes it even more annoying...

So I watched the next game, against a stronger team than me, playing away, and I won 5-1. Maybe they've been tweaking around with the engine this season to make watching actually do something.

21220 My youth striker, I trained him up to Free kick specialist and 'scout' level, he hardly scored in the few games at the end of last season as he was just training, but got 14 goals in 8 games...

I'm level 9 playing in a league with a few level 10 players so my available 'scouts' are 7*. Get a few of them a few skill points off 8*, train them up and there you go.

If I'm tanking a season quite often I play around with formations during a game and there are many times I've been 4 or 5 nil down at half time due to an illegal formation, I change to a 'good' 4-4-2...

Yeh, I guess having four or five 2* players in the squad on the first day of the season is about the only way to influence the draw in your favour.
