Khris imo there are already tournament formats in real life that work and they have been created by people smarter than us.
Lets keep the National Manager desicion maker . Make it fixed 3x3 in Groups with 4 countries at first .. so semifinals and then finals and lets have one final made for the best loosing teams the national manager will take action only if needed and lets keep the subs as well .

We always do the same, Group stage, playoffs, change avq, "fair rules", maybe a League, but it doesnt exist a Realistic Stile of tournament giving the Role as Coach, and with the option to be fired and replaced if fail hard for example to qualify for a competition or something else.

I want to emulate a real team structure with this, too for the managers that only can feel as part of a Real National team, selected by a Coach that belongs to a National Team structure with a President being responsible of th e decisions, doing something like this.

Really, we have actually the Community World Cup that keeps the same line as the regular friendly competitions that are made in many places, but including Fair Rules with Limited margins and that allow wide scores and equality but, still it doesnt exist a competition where u can be responsible to Select&Manage a group of players to win vs a particular team.

So I stand with this cause I'm preety sure that will bring us a new experience. Top Eleven should have a 2nd team which can fire you, maybe linked tto FAs

Ok it sounds better now that you explained more. It seems fair to be able to fire a coach or hire but it all comes down to the players. I guess the best scouter would be the best head coach.

Yep, a coach and a president and even a national player will feel some kind of pressure doing a comp like this, and thats the target, it will be like if your Top Eleven sack you from the team if you dont promote/tank. XD
