The former F1 champion from Team Ferrari, Michael Scumacher, met with a serious accident yesterday. He got a head injury while skiing with his son He is right now in coma
He has been my favourte F1 racer ever...
Let us pray that he recovers successfully and soon and that he is fit again

He is a great racer and an amazing human being as well..... Hope he recovers.....

(I know many people who love to ski. I live where it's a short drive half the year to go ski...You will *never* see me on a slope, even when I could take the cold I knew how dangerous it is. I own a motorcycle, statistically way less dangerous, but I guess with his job he wouldn't have thought much of that.)

I know skiiing is dangerous but F1 during the times when he used to dream to be a driver was much more dangerous... And such legends are used to Adrenaline rushes.... This is indeed a shock

At the same time period, 1 or 2 years ago a Romanian TV pres. had a same accident and now his ok but you never know...

I hope Michael Schumacher will be ok, hard times for his family

yeah just heard about this, hope he makes it out alright. that was kind of sad when you said motorcycling is 'statistically' safer than skiing

made me remember my first snowboarding trip with my family though. i just got my wee wittle snowboard gear all set and i tripped on a hidden young tree/sapling (or whatever theyre called). the terrors of not knowing whats under the snow is like confronting a missngno that corrupts your saved games, it ruins your day

I started been fan of the F1 for a friend from germany, in the 99' when Mika hakkinen won, but, of course for my friend, and because I liked him a lot, I was following Schumacher. My only desire of this year is for Schumi, and I'm sure that he will overcome this moment.

According to the news for 2-3 days, he is in stable condition. His condition is not worsening though his injury is still critical and he is still in medically induced coma for medical reasons... He is recovering fast
All the best to the doctors who are incharge of his treatment... They too need the players
