I have a very unique musical taste. I'm into rock and metal, however my favourite genre is one called "Neue Deutsche Härte" which is famed by bands such as Rammstein https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQfiOjAxP1w Oomph! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuLPJg2gwjQ and Die Apokalyptischen Reiter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sF5UP53UZ2k . Its a genre that is based and brought from the early 90's onwards from the reunification of Germany.

As far as Rock and Metal goes, bands like Metallica, Slipknot, Manson, right to more deathcore and hard metal like Lamb of God, Bring me the Horizon and all sorts inbetween. Then I slip through to Punk from the likes of Bad Religion through to The Distillers.

I do like my foreign music too though. One of my favourite bands growing up was a Dutch Punk band called De Heideroosjes. One of my current favourites is a Norwegian hard metal band called Kvelertak. I've more European foreign music on my Ipod than I do English/American as far as I am aware.
