Disappointment

Well having read some of the comments that people were making regarding the shocking results that they got today (Troll Mourinho), this result was no surprise.

We started of exactly as predicted in the earlier post^^^^^^ then after 36' he had a player sent off for a foul that was adjudged to be on the edge of the box ("what no penalty") Having missed the free kick into the crowd I new that the story was already written. On the 68' I changed my formation from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2 to take advantage of the missing red carded central defender & 2' later they get their only shot on goal only to be tipped behind for a corner, in comes the corner & comfortably defended by my central defender, but what's this a second corner, the crowd are furious & low and behold 1-0. 70'. A further change to Hexagon was clearly not going to even retrieve a draw, so sure enough the 26-0-0 season & unbeaten season comes to an end. Am I disappointed of course, but I am not going to Quit, or Tank or even Cry. I'm just going to Carry on Regardless.

Well I've been busy working over the last 4 days so not had chance to keep you updated or even read some of your posts, but I will get through them all over the weekend.

I had another disappointing result in the league straight after the result with Simoncas which handed them a 4 point lead, but recent wins for me & a draw from him the gap is now only 2 points.



The Champions League is a different story we have already won the league without playing later tonight so I plan to experiment with a few players.

Champions League Qualification



Tonight we go into the draw for the next stage of the champions League as Group Winners.
If my memory serves me correct we should be playing FC Rossonero in the next round.

Champions League First Knock-out Stage



This team played some good football in the group stages, but he doesn't use a definite formation at the moment he is lined up as 4-4-2, but has used 4-5-2V so things may change. I will also be using 4-4-2 but have the capability to change to either 4-3N-1-2 or 4-2-2-2 Hexagon to counter during the game.

Kick off at 18:41 GMT but I have a league match 17:56 so we will have to be careful especially only having 1 GK due to injury. I did have both my GK injured last night after training, but one due back 2 day so was able to treat him this morning for 1 pack minimum amount.

We took the lead 20' but soon it was 1-1 25', we took the lead again 36' & managed to get to half time 2-1 up, the final goal came in the 59' to make it 2-2. I threw everything at him in the last quarter of the game but couldn't get the win. Nevertheless a draw away from home in the champions league is a good result, having 2 away goals to take home means a clean sheet is a must in the return leg.
