Player of the Season award goes to Alex McLeish for his commanding presence in the heart of the Buffs defence:
Yet again the Buffs FC Board fulfills its commitment to infrastructure development - unveiling a new Staium for the coming season.
Budget
With Buffs Mad taking a conservative approach to squad recruitment in Season 3, the Buffs Board will bring forward 9.5m cash and 156T for transfer agents fees. It is expected that around 150T will be injected into the Club directly and the Board will work with sponsors to double that in season.
This gives a predicted Season 4 starting budget of 9.5m + 306T rising as sponsor funds come in.
Season Target
The Buffs Board have set an initially conservative target of promotion, CL Qualification and sound financial management within Budget.
Within the Footballing Department a non-critical ambitious target has been set targetting:
- a top 2 league finish, 100 league goals and less than 15 goals conceded;
- progression to the CL QF; and
- in the interests of consistency, reaching the Cup Qualifying Stage.
Squad
Danny McGrain and Billy McNeill, both 31 years old, will transfer to Celtic Rangers. Two Scouts will be recruited if the right 22 year olds become available: targetted roles will be from ML, MR, ST, DL or DR. Youngsters will be recruited by the second round of league games in any unfilled roles. However, the Board and Management has agreed there are no immediate pressure on transfer dealings.
Season 3 Performance
The Board have confirmed that all targets were met and that progress was satisfactory, bordering on encouraging.
Performance Statistics for Season 3 have also been released, publicly.
Feeder Club Policy
Celtic Rangers will adopt an experimental policy regarding formations in the first part of the season and then tank the remainder. Defensive formation experiments will centre on Man on Man Marking, Own Half Pressing and Counter-attacking in the 4-4-2 and 4-1-3W-2 systems.
Buffs FC will offer support to Celtic Rangers through an Academy Prospects Placement Scheme.
Shangalang FC will continue a similar experimental strategy but focus on a starting system of either 3N-2W(or 2N)-3N-2 (following the recent recruitment of a DML/DMC & a DMR/DMC) shifting into a 3-5-2 as appropriate. Additionally, Shangalang are tasked with entering Season 5 with no player older than 20 for a tanking season.
Season 4
And they're off!
Season 4 starts with a Cup tie at home. Nice to get off to a winning start - might just make it to Qualifying to get kicked out then again for 4 in a row. No transfer activity yet. (New Mr Scout is an idiot too - 29yo AML/ML *grrr*)
Again Graeme Souness runs around clattering people and getting a yellow. *proud*
Feeder Teams
Celtic Rangers beat an abandoned team 7-2 away.
Shangalang FC draw 2-2 away by the skin of their teeth with 3 saves from the keeper.

I've update OP with new All Time Stats, Club Badge and Away Jersey (not decided if I should change Home yet).
Badge and 2 Jerseys were a very kind gift from a friend so a big THANKS for that to Mr Mystery. And, to heck with it......a Man-hug too.
Excellent win for your first cup game of the season. Grab that early away goal and everything's splendid! Hopefully Souness won't get himself suspended already, he can at least wait 2 more games before he does that, right?
The Buffs wouldn't be the same without that home jersey!
Thank you...and yes, I'll keep the jersey (thats what they play for isn't it) because they're our colours - I'll only change it if the game decides to let me have blue n white hoops, one day maybe. I'll alternate the others for away games.
Souness isn't a bad lad, he's just misunderstood. And Buffs Mad gees him up each game to get him pressing all over and hard tackling so we can't blame the boy. Anyway, if he does get suspended we have Billy Bremner who is more than capable of stepping in and taking over leg-biting duties. I could put Darren Fletcher in but he's just too nice.
I'm afraid we would have to wait 4 years for the next world cup until Scotland gets another chance ;P
Untill then you should keep your home jersey unless you want to disapoint the fans ;P
Keep it-YES.

Well I had a feeling it was going to happen and it has. Celtic Rangers has been drawn in Buffs FC's league. Tank mode for CR.
