Are You on lv 7 Cup?
I'm on 6 and the higest Q is around 35.. ;D so its equal, as far as they don't improve their lv 6 teams with 4 stars players xD would be a killer.

Yeah, Lvl 7 - when I first checked it was 6 but that was because there were 2 x Galatasary and I only checked 1 of them. The average Q is probably same as mine atm so I'm going down the ranking - 13 teams higher than mine and there are 4 over 40 now so its going up. The only lvl 7 team has 3 x 8* players & 4 x 7*s the rest are 4 & 5*s.

I HATE thoes guys with mixed 4-8 stars.. their 8 stars perform pretty good meanwhile the 4Stars guys are not that bad aswell.. Thoes are usually favourites against a team with full 6stars even if their quality is equal.. >< How do u plan to stop them ? ;D I've got few players with 3-4 x 7stars so atm im trying to get more 7stars too haha Don't think you'd be going for 8stars players unless u want to suicide in next cup draws

In the league, 2nd placed Ahtariyo FC spoiled Buffs FC's 100% league record. Both Managers watched, with the home side enjoying extra support, as Buffs failed to offer much attacking threat and relied instead on bully boy tactics. It could have been one of those days so Buffs Mad was quite relieved to get out of there with a share of the points. Buffs went 4-5-1V against Ahtariyo's Narrow Diamond.

Steven FC, the side marked as Buffs' closest rival at the beginning of the season, leapfrog into 2nd place with Buffs still 3pts clear.

Next up for the Buffs in the league is former franchise club Celtic Rangers which was cut loose after the league was announced.

Breaking News

Buffs FC safely negotiate the Cup Playoff 2nd leg with a 1-0 win courtesy of a 2nd half header for Fletcher from a McLeish corner. While this represents a continuing loss of form for the Buffs in front of goal compared to the early season avalanche, despite enjoying the majority possession, the Club and its fans are happy to reach the last 16 for the first time.

Buffs set up in a 4-5-1 Flat with the opposition emerging in a 3-2W-3N-2. Buffs changed at half-time to a 3-3-2W-1.

Shock of the Day was the highest quality and Level 7 side crashing out 6-4 on aggregate.

In a post-match training session debutant James McFadden impressed enough to achive 6* recognition.

IMO, you could've won that game if you had another formation with some tactical orders. From here, it shows that you have a better offense vs his defense. 3 yellow cards out of 23 tackels ( 19 fouls ) , are you playing extra hard for your tackling style man ?
Anyway I hope you the best for this season.

That last draw was the second time I've played Ahtariyo this season, previously I beat him 8-1 away. This match was just 'one of those things' that happen. Everything went well for me in the previous Cup round so an unexpected draw in the league is not a disaster and I can't complain.

And, yes, I was playing hard tackling. Again, the game engine went a bit crazy I think and the opposition's AMC got stretchered off. Which was a shame because he had to put that 1* Academy player in because of injuries/suspensions ruling out his other players.

Day 10 Update

Buffs Mad has been spoiled for goals early doors with the team having scored more than expected - so now it feels to him like a slump when the Buffs are just doing enough.

But, Buffs FC win 2-0 away in the Champions League. They are already through but this almost guarantees 1st place unless the 2nd place team (which we beat 8-1 away but drew with in recent league match) gives us a right good humping.

Its clear Buffs need to replace the wingers but have not found suitable replacements this season or end of last (other than adding a an AMC(/AML) for more options). Looks like Buffs Mad will need to adopt an early bird strategy to get some NordGems. Another option is to go for short-term fix and get that 22 yo 44Q striker thats the only thing worth looking at on the Scout list but corner kick SA seems a bit of a waste.....hmmmm. Nevertheless, he will still need to secure young trainers in the next 3 days at most to have them ready to take over 1st team duties in key areas for next season.

Still need a decent DL(/DC) to let me place my best DC were its most important. So, I think the recruitment team need to stop being so picky.

Transfers Update

Buffs Mad rejected the short-termism approach of a Scout Striker. A new DC/DMC was recruited - Billy McNeill. BM also went after the highest value player I'v seen on the market at Buffs level, 8m, but bailed after 6T because it was clear the other bidder was there for the duration. Still rare to see anything over 5m on my market.

Reserve Striker was sold, as was a reserve DC. The need remains a DL/DC and that reserve DC hardly ever played and trained to slow to be a viable option.

Performance Update

Willie Henderson is not impressing as an AMR. He has one more chance in the first half of tonights Cup game or Jimmy Johnstone will return to 1st Team duties and Henderson will get the boot. On the other hand Jamrs McFadden is impressing as AML while Baxter gets rested. Its still a priority to try to replace both wingers and leave McFadden as a fallback option.

Training Speed

Since Buffs Mad has been looking for fast trainers he decided to look more closely at Franchise Club players for comparisons. Here's a couple of Academy players on Shangalang FC that are posting some nice numbers. Unfortunately the fastest got injured >.< during Cardio and missed Match Practice.
