Yep, when I tried to look specifically at GKs I found that the times the comments matched the rating were just as unreliable as the times they didn't. This is not because I believe the ratings are unreliable (I accept them) but because saves do not make a performance and there was often many FKs, CKs, crosses, 1on1s etc to be dealt with that never make it to the commentary. We occasional get told when he comes to collect and catches it but not when he comes and misses it. Too many gaps - Mcs too are usually judged on passing and ball retention (possession) but stats wise we get nada info.
Thats why I suggested adding some more possession style stats to be added to understand better player interactions with the ball and success/failure.
Commentary can't explain ratings - its too limited (particularly when sometimes it takes 7 or more comments to complete a single event).
