I missed the game, it was at 3AM lol. But alas, Nordeus thought it would be funny to give me a 1-1 draw and 4 yellow cards, resulting in a red for the later game today. Oh well, at least I'll be able to watch the second game on Tuesday.

And one more thing, if my player has a cup red card, can he play in league matches?

I decided to take a different approach to the stats today. Let me know if you like them!

8/30 Champ. League Chicago Storm FC 4-0 Mike FC
Heading into the third game of Season 3's Champions League, the Chicago Storm (2-0-0) took on Mike FC (0-0-2). Based on the records, it looks like the Storm will cruise to a comfortable win, but underdogs do win. The Storm come into this game with a +4 GD, and Mike FC are at a -6, and have yet to score a goal.
As the first half starts and finishes, neither side have a goal to show. 12 minutes into the second half, Fouhad Taubira finds the back of the net and gives the Storm a 1-0 advantage. Realizing these wouldn't be enough goals, Alan Leonard and Martín Rodríguez combine to score 3 goals from the 70 to the 78 minute mark. The Game would end 4-0, with the Chicago Storm FC on top. The games MOTM would be the Storm's defender, Tamás Garamvölgyi.
Scorers Fouhad Taubira (57') Alan Leonard (70', 78') Martín Rodríguez (75')
    Assists Daniel Kofi Amo (70')

8/30 League mihai fcp 0-5 Chicago Storm FC
As the season is fresh, points are the best thing a manager could hope for. Points have been easier for the Chicago Storm FC to come by so far, as they are 3-1-0, and are in first place, heading into today's match against mihai fcp, who are 0-1-3 and in thirteenth. The Storm have a +13 GD while mihai fcp come into this game with a -9.
The Chicago Storm start this game off on the right foot, as Zivojin Maric scores a beautiful first time shot with his right foot, in under 10 minutes. Less than 20 minutes later, Rafal Romachow scores a screamer from a free kick in the 26th. Following a yellow card to mihai fcp and a corner, Karim Boutadjine heads in a Evghenie Grosu corner. On the stroke of half-time, Daniel Kofi Amo finds the netting, 0-4 Storm.
6 minutes into the second half, Zivojin Maric suffered a lower body injury and would be out of competition for 3 day, unless their manager uses reds which I heard he might do. Following the injury, the Storm's season 1 MVP but rarely used substitute Adi Warman replaces Maric. Martín Rodríguez would score the only goal of the second half in the 73rd. This game's MOTM was the Chicago Storm FC's striker, Zivojin Maric.
Scorers Zivojin Maric (8') Rafal Romachow (26') Karim Boutadjine (34') Daniel Kofi Amo (44') Martín Rodríguez (73')
Assists Matt Carseldine (8') Evghenie Grosu (34')

8/31 Cup soccer city 1-1 Chicago Storm FC
Trying to start off the Playoff Round of Season 3's Cup in the best way, the Chicago Storm FC head out to Kannur, India, to play the first leg. The Storm are the favorites to win the 2 game series, but soccer city has some good players who are capable of pulling out a win. The Storm will do everything they can to pull out a win, but if a draw or loss happens, a goal will help tremendously as the away goal rule could come into affect.
The game started this game almost exactly as the last, with Zivojin Maric netting the games first goal in under 10 minutes. The Chicago Storm weren't able to hold on to the lead for too long, as Pablo Alles would tie the game at 1 all in the 18th. Missed chances for both sides would leave the game at 1-1 going into the second half.
Just over 10 minutes into the half, Chicago Storm FC's central midfielder Fouhad Taubira picked up a yellow card, and second of the cup run, resulting in a red card for the second leg against soccer city. More time passed, and still no goal. Unfortunately, the Storm's manager was unable to attend this game, so he wasn't able to implement any new strategies that would help his team win. The game would finish in a 1-1 draw, leaving an exiting game in Chicago on the 2nd of September. After playing a superb game at defense, soccer city's defender Augostinho Datta walked away with this game's MOTM award.
Scorers Zivojin Maric (9') Pablo Alles (18')
    Assists Matt Carseldine (9')

8/31 League Chicago Storm FC 9-0 fener bahҫe
Fener bahҫe will head to Chicago to take on the Chicago Storm FC with hopes of restoring their mediocre record. The Storm (4-1-0, +18 GD) face off against fener bahҫe (1-1-3, -2 GD) at the United Center. The Storm thus far have proven to be a title contending team, while fener bahҫe are struggling and are in in twelfth. On paper, the Storm have the clear advantage, and won't want to drop any points.
Every manager wants their team to have an explosive start, and that's exactly what the Chicago Storm FC's manger, Hawks, got. Just following the 10 minute mark, Rafal Romachow smashes a free kick off the post and into the back of the net to give the Storm an early advantage. Just 15 minutes later, Zivojin Maric would start the Storm's offensive onslaught by contributing towards 1 of the 4 goals in a quarter of a hour. Matt Carseldine scored twice and Martín Rodríguez were the other contributors. The Storm will go into the half leading with a comfortable 5 goal cushion. Both managers will have very opposite team talks during half.
Although the win was in sight for the Chicago Storm FC, manager Hawks wasn't satisfied yet as goal differential could come back to haunt you at the seasons end. Evghenie Grosu scored the first goal to start the half, and was followed soon after by Martín Rodríguez's second. Rafal Romachow scored his second of the night just one measly minute after Rodríguez scored his second. As the game was winding down, Fouhad Taubira decided it would be a good idea to add to his goal total, as he added the ninth and final goal of the 9-0 blowout in the 89th minute. Although there many candidates, the Chicago Storm FC's attacking midfielder Daniel Kofi Amo was presented with the MOTM award.
    Scorers Rafal Romachow (11', 66') Zivojin Maric (24') Matt Carseldine (30', 39') Martín Rodríguez (37', 65') Evghenie Grosu (53') Fouhad Taubira (89')
Assists Daniel Kofi Amo (30') Zivojin Maric (39', 53') Matt Carseldine (66') Martín Rodríguez (89')

9/1 Champ. League Mike FC 3-6 Chicago Storm FC
With the Champion's League group stages nearing the end, all managers know that points are in high demand, as these last few matches can determine a club's fate. Mike FC (0-0-3, -10 GD) will try to stand tall on their home field as they host the Chicago Storm FC (3-0-0, +6 GD), who beat them 4-0 their last meeting. The Storm are favorites here, but will Mike FC's home field advantage pay off?
An early foul by Mike FC will leave them shaking their heads, as Rafal Romachow curves the free kick around the wall to give the Chicago Storm FC an early lead. In a revenge only a simulation game could simulate, Mike FC's Victor Nikiforov scores a free kick off of a Martín Rodríguez foul. Unsatisfied with the score, Daniel Kofi Amo and Rafal Romachow score 2 minutes apart to give the Storm a 2 goal lead. On the very last play of the half, Amo heads in his second goal of the game by scoring off of an Evghenie Grosu corner to give Chicago a 4-1 lead going into the half.
During the break, Mike FC's head coach Mike Reus must've given the perfect speech, as Victor Nikiforov knocks in his second of the night only 3 minutes into the half. Apparently Hawks' speech was pretty darn good too, as Martín Rodríguez taps in his goal shortly after to restore the Storm's 3 goal lead. Straight off kickoff, Mike FC play the ball into the box, and Rodríguez can only look away in embarrassment as he gets his second yellow of the night and gives Mike FC a penalty, which Péter Tassy would easily finish. Being a man down wouldn't stop the Chicago Storm FC's defender, Tamás Garamvölgyi, from scoring the final goal of the night, as the Storm would win, 6-3. Defender and goal scorer Tamás Garamvölgyi would receive the MOTM award.
Scorers Victor Nikiforov (26', 48') Péter Tassy (Pen.) (53') Rafal Romachow (5', 36') Daniel Kofi Amo (34', 45') Martín Rodríguez (50') Tamás Garamvölgyi (76')
Assists Fouhad Taubira (36') Evghenie Grosu (45')

9/1 League Hevzi FC 1-4 Chicago Storm FC
Arriving in FYR Macedonia, the Chicago Storm FC (5-1-0, +27 GD) will take on Havzi FC (1-1-4, -5 GD) in the first of two appearances between these two clubs. Like usual, the Storm are the clear favorites and would like to stay atop the league table, as Havzi FC are struggling to get to .500.
Getting off to a quick start, Fouhad Taubira finds the back of the netting in just the third minute to put the Chicago Storm FC into a 1 nil lead. Not even 10 minutes later, Zivojin Maric scores to give the Storm a 2 goal advantage. A clean tackle leaves Havzi FC's left central midfielder Renato Okshtuni in pain, lower body seems to be the area. Just before the 40 minute mark, Daniel Kofi Amo buries a 25 yard shot to put the Storm even further in the lead.
As the time flies by, a very boring half seems to be underway. Missed chances to each side still leaves the Chicago Storm FC in front with only 10 minutes to go. Unfortunately, the Storm's goalie, Xisco Camacho, isn't able to keep his clean sheet, as Havzi FC's Lulezim Avni scores with only 4 minutes remaining in regulation. Although the win is in the bag, Daniel Kofi Amo doesn't take kindly to Avni's goal, and scores his second of the night just before the final whistle. The Storm win the game, 1-4. Chicago's midfielder, Amo, rightfully wins this game's MOTM award.
Scorers Lulezim Avni (86') Fouhad Taubira (3') Zivojin Maric (11') Daniel Kofi Amo (36', 89')
Assists Dino Muҫollari (86') Martín Rodríguez (3')

9/2 Cup Chicago Storm FC 7-1 soccer city
Soccer city heads out to Chicago, Illinois, to play the second leg of the playoff round of the cup. The first game of the leg saw a 1-1 draw between these two teams. The Storm have the stronger team and are looking to progress farther into the playoffs.
Starting off the game nice and quick, Matt Carseldine lays off a pass to fellow striker Zivojin Maric, who gives the Chicago Storm FC a quick 1 nil lead. After attacks from both sides, a corner is all that the Storm need as Matt Carseldine heads in an Evghenie Grosu corner. Exactly at the half an hour mark, Zivojin Maric weaves in and out the soccer city's defense and bangs in his second goal of the night. Just prior to the kickoff, Martín Rodríguez steals the ball and scores a howler from 35 yards out. Rodríguez's goal gives the Storm a 4-0 lead going into the half.
Shariyaya Kalikkaran Kanhirode, soccer city's manager, knows his team has their work set out for them if they want to progress farther into the cup. To make things worse, Matt Carseldine and Akif Torlak (off an Evghenie Grosu corner) score 10 minutes apart to put the Chicago Storm FC up by 6. Torlak is making an uncommon appearance as he's in for Fouhad Taubira, who has a red card. With only a few minutes remaining, soccer city's midfielder, John Ryan, breaks Camacho's clean sheet as he buries one with only 7 minutes remaining. Akif Torlak decides to boost his stats by scoring his second of the night with 2 minutes remaining. The Storm's multi-goal scorer Matt Carseldine wins this game's MOTM.
    Scorers Zivojin Maric (6', 30') Matt Carseldine (17', 56') Martín Rodríguez (34') Akif Torlak (65', 88') John Ryan (83')
Assists Matt Carseldine (6') Evghenie Grosu (17', 65')

9/2 League Chicago Storm FC 6-0 HAWKEYE UNITED
HAWKEYE UNITED (4-1-2, +4 GD) head into Chicago to take on the Chicago Storm FC (6-1-0, +30 GD) at the United Center. Most of the Storm's recent games have been against sub-par clubs, so it'll be interesting to see how they fare against an over .500 team. Like usual, the Storm are the heavy favorites, and HAWKEYE UNITED will want to silence their crowds.
The Chicago Storm FC start the match off with the ball, and oh! What's that? Zivojin Maric has already scored, and we're not even a minute into the game! The majority of the fans haven't even found their seats yet! Just over five minutes later, Daniel Kofi Amo smashes in a 25 yard screamer, to give the Storm a 2 goal advantage in under 10 minutes. What is this? Germany vs Brazil v2? Although the Storm have the clear advantage here, they are still pressing forwards to try to give themselves a higher goal differential. With many attacks comes missed chances, although Karim Boutadjine finds the back of the netting off of a Matt Carseldine through ball. HAWKEYE UNITED will go into the half trailing 0-3.
The Chicago Storm FC are still hungry for goals, and it takes less than 10 minutes for Daniel Kofi Amo to bulge the netting for the fourth goal of the night. Unsatisfied with his recent performances, Karim Boutadjine tries to prove to the Storm's manager, Hawks, that he's the right guy for the job by putting away his second goal of the night. With the game winding to an end, Matt Carseldine adds salt to the wound at puts away his first goal of the night with only 6 minutes remaining. Xisco Camacho picks up his first clean sheet in a while, as both teams leave the field with opposite emotions. Goal scorer and Chicago's midfielder Daniel Kofi Amo walks away with the MOTM award.
Scorers Zivojin Maric (1') Daniel Kofi Amo (7', 54') Karim Boutadjine (37', 66') Matt Carseldine (84')
Assists Matt Carseldine (37') Zivojin Maric (54', 84')

9/2 League Hero FC 0-6 Chicago Storm FC
The Chicago Storm come into Bangkok, Thailand, with a depleted side, as manager Hawks has decided to rest some of his starting 11 players. The Storm (7-1-0, +36 GD) face off against Hero FC (2-1-5, -11 GD) in their first meeting of the season. With the standings seeming to be set, the Storm know that they will need to be getting a full 3 points out of these 'easy' games.
Adi Warman, Zivojin Maric's replacement, starts the game off with a quick goal off of an Alan Leonard corner. 10 minutes later, Fouhad Taubira scores his first of the night off of a beautiful skill run down the field. Just after the half hour mark, Taubira nets his second of the night off a Matt Carseldine layoff pass. As Hero FC pull the ball out from the back of their net and kickoff, Daniel Kofi Amo steals the ball and scores from distance. 0-4 Chicago at the half time break.
With many more missed chances for the Chicago Storm FC, the games heads into the final 30 minutes. Fouhad Taubira scores a third goal for his hat trick, as the Storm are en route for an easy victory. With 5 minutes remaining, Alan Leonard heads in a Karim Boutadjine corner kick to score Chicago's 6th and final goal. The Storm take this game, 0-6, as backup keeper Eric Hahnemann records a clean sheet in a rare start. Hat Trick Hero Fouhad Taubira is awarded the MOTM award for his brilliant performance in the game.
    Scorers Adi Warman (2') Fouhad Taubira (13', 33', 74') Alan Leonard (85')
Assists Alan Leonard (2') Matt Carseldine (33') Martín Rodríguez (74') Karim Boutadjine (85')

After Tuesday's first game, The Chicago Storm FC are heading into the Knockout Stages of the Cup after winning 1 and drawing 1 game against soccer city with an aggregate of 8-2. The Storm will be facing off against the Brazilian side, real madrid FC. The Storm know that this team will be harder than soccer city, but their manager, Hawks, has faith in his side. The Chicago Storm FC come into this series as the favorites, but only by about 3 rating (23.2 - 21.1). Chicago knows that they will have to be careful of Frank Lampard as he can carry real madrid FC to victory. Game one will be held Sept. 4th at 6:10 PM, CST in Brasília. Game 2 will be held in Chicago on the 6th at 10:02 AM, CST. If you want to support the Storm in this or any game, let me know!
